Neat solution. I did not face such requirement, but I'll keep it in my favorites. I actually do similar task when I, for instance, have to create a risk evaluation using different sets of threshold values. Just add a Cartesian product, explode it, and then use different thresholds for different scenarios.

Hi ruth, great video (again)! Really valuable as start and end date + an amount is usually provided. Is there an easy way to take into account workings days / weekends? Especially for resource allocation the weekend are to be excluded because of.. weekend. Let me know :)

Fair point, in my case I didn't have to, but I can see how that would be the norm. Added to my list!

Great video Ruth. How scalable is this approach, eg if you had 1000s of orders covering 1000s of days? Ive used List in PQ in the past and it bombed the performance when trying to compute the intervals. Also, could something similar be achieved in DAX, using USERELATIONSHIP against a calendar table? Thanks!

Well, the bigger the data, the slower it will get, but I haven't tried it with really big datasets.
Try it, if it is too slow, do it at the source or try the DAX approach I will show on tomorrow's video.
