5:48 Honestly, it surprised me to learn that even though the game's been actively updating since 2007, about 70% of its current content was created in the past four years. Development apparently got a huge boom in the 2020s, so now we're getting about 5-10 new worlds every other week. The quality of the game's areas has also vastly improved in recent years IMO. On one hand it does mean it'll be pretty much impossible to fully complete the game. But it is neat that if you ever feel like you're running out of places to explore, you can come back in a few months and have a ton of new content to see.
@@IStoleThePies That is beyond incredible. I can play Yume 2kki forever if I want. Originally, I thought I'd just sort of drop the game eventually, but with this in mind I can always come back to see more. I could be weeks into playing other games and decide on a whim "You know what, I'm going to explore Yume 2kki today." It feels like an addiction at this point.
@@bluei-j5e Yup. FYI, if you ever want to see the changes in a new update, it's listed on the Version History page on the wiki. Granted, it usually takes a couple extra weeks for the community to vote on names for new areas (if the author didn't provide an English one) and create guides for them.
@PGrayOfficial Oh, that's incredible. I subbed. Really awesome to see one of the creative masterminds behind this game here. It's an honor. Thanks for checking out the vid!
