holding shift multi-places ; there's also an option to enable automatic multiple placement - right click cancels...
So there are 3 interesting things you can do to make this game a lot easier:
1) The output bus: Because your hub has only 4 inputs on each side and you can't get more it might be a good idea to run strait roads from far away into it at the very beginning. Your map is going to look like a big "+" going into the hub with factories all around. The roads themselves should look like this:

[Balancer] [Double balancer] [Balancer]
{Repeat, but end with row 1}
This will allow you to input your production into the hub by just connecting your output to one of the smaller balancers. The double balancers are there to make sure the lines are balanced and if there is space for items to get on they will.
2) Turn off smart tunnels in the options. It's the reason your tunnels were merging together.
3) Resource bus: Instead of building new mines for each project you can make conveyors with raw materials running the other way of your output bus. 2 conveyors side by side, 2 spaces between them. Each conveyor line has some one shape or dye. Use double balancers to branch the needed resource off the bus, use tunnels to get the resources away from the buss and to the empty space where you can build. I personally don't use it, as I prefer to establish the mining outposts where I need them, but this whole thing can make your life a lot simpler.

You should Play mindustry, it's allmost the same, but a little more advanced and with enemes

9:30: if you cut a shape, you get 2 shapes, you need 4 lines out of your factory instead of 2 lines
I got the game last night and I’m level 13 now and it is amazing 😉
wow I also start playing it, and I am at lvl 11
4 items/s belt... divided by .8 production... equals 5 belts... 5x8=40...
Also if you produce 4x2 squares... and you split each into 2... you get 4x4 half squares, so you need 4 lines not 2 lines for the factory.
you can stack the exstractors in front of echother to use all the exstracting spots.

11:17 you need the stacking machine in order to copy(copying is not free, it requires a certain shape in your inventory(the shape asked in level 12))

FYI, Extractor at 0.8 and Belts at 4.0 = 5 extractors per 1 belt. 8x5=40

Would have been simple to use the ONE square on the left of the blue paint as start. Go up to top of blue and receive color, paint, then turn corner and Cut. Can rotate after to match proper direction on way to HUB.
The was a tile on tye map that had red green and blue you should use that to make a coler center

When dealing with the tunnels and they disappear when placing them next to each other it’s just a glitch and you just have to place them again
My factory looks like spaghetti made of conveyors and distributors to make the conveyors evenly distributed

Hey Z love the vids! If you hold shift while placing anything but the belts it’ll let you keep placing them. With the belts holding shift shows you a green line and that lets you drag to build belts
when u level up that should make u happy but its really making u saaaaaaaaaaaad

Hey Z, the reason why the tunnels are getting deleted is you probably have Smart Tunnels enabled, and to be honest- Smart Tunnels isn't very smart. You can disable Smart Tunnels in the Options.
By the way I’m pretty sure the map is basically infinite or at least you will have to have like a bot Which just continues to scroll right also

Little does he know, pasting is unlocked at level 12 and costs a certain shape to do
hey you CAN feed miners into miners and then out one belt... (M)>(M)>(M)>Belt = 3x miners to 1 belt (for example)
thats a later unlock, he doesnt have it yet
