Just use what shampoo you like and used before. Also try to get something clear or yellowy translucent, and something thats natural

Oh Lord I'm sorry but that is the worst Gel ever especially for dreads! It's mostly petroleum aka vaseline. With a side of wax and fragrance. The future build up and follicle blockage is immense.
I usually just two strand twist my dreads and leave a rubber band at the ends and rock it like that for about two weeks then let them out

Crochet hooks are pretty cheap but work very well. If you don’t want to order it, I’m sure your local Walmart has one. Get the right size hook tho
