- The creek spit out a rare 4" long beveled spike-style point today along with a sad broken mini dovetail. Special thanks to my (Mark's) brother from Arizona who joined us on his first ever hunt. It was nice to see him find his first arrowhead.

Very nice finds boys! West Virginia is beautiful, has wonderful folks & incredible indigenous N ative North American History. I believe those points could be made from Zaleski flint(chert) part of the upper mercer formation found in WV, V, & Ohio. It's use extending from Paleo to contact period. I was gifted a thin fluted Clovis found in Virginia made of what I believe may be the same stone. Thank you for sharing your video finds.Vincent James (Lithic Technologist/researcher)
