I bought the hobby lobby candel kit. I was bored and I wanted to see if I could make some candles. I liked it well. I use to make birthday or xmas gifts to go along with what I either make or buy. I upcycle the oui yogurt jars to make my candles. Also I live kind of out in the boonies so my power goes out on occasion. Great to have candels on hand as well. Thank you for the information.
Excellent Video! Forgive me for butting in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you ever tried - Chireetler Earning Maker Rule (probably on Google)? It is a great exclusive guide for learning how to make candles for fund or profit minus the hard work. Ive heard some super things about it and my BF after many years got excellent success with it.
Do you absolutely have to cure candles to get a hot throw ? My patience is so bad with this whole testing thing. I’m so anxious to make successful candle and by successful I mean One I can smell 100% I want a hot throw as strong as bath and body works candles.. 😅
Nice to know, my soon to be daughter-in-law was asking me about Hobby Lobby or Michael's candle supplies. She wanted to make some candles as gifts. I told her I wasn't sure, but was doubtful that they worked well. So, I had her come here and we used my supplies to make a few 6 oz. Candles. Of coarse this made perfect sense to me. I just gave her the basic instructions and let her go. They turned out great for her. She told me I had so many scents it boggled her mind a bit. Heck, I didn't tell her it was time to replenish some of my fragrances, lol! Just for kicks, I counted. I had 32. To me I need double that, but realize, I have a skin care and soap line on top of my candles. So 32 is really low. She had a great time, but now I can tell her Hobby Lobby has decent hobby kits. Thank you for doing the experiment.
I love your videos! Anyone wanting to make a scented candle would be wasting money buying the country lane fragrance oils from Hobby Lobby. Very little to non existent hot throw using their fragrance oils. I started buying my oils from Candle Science and there is no comparison. The hot throw is amazing!
Omg I’m a beginner and I wasted a little bit of money buying into all their products. The candles am burned okay the wicks seems decent I had the beeswax ones but the scents where non existent 😭 I keep trying it thinking I did something wrong then I tried making some with fragrances that came from else where suck as bulk aromatherapy, and a local oil shop the bulk aroma didn’t deliver and so far o don’t think the oil shop oil will either. I know my skills are rusty but I can’t really figure out what I’m doing wrong

Personally I pour between 165-170, but every wax is different!
