It's still cool to remember this remake was released when the anime was on the air and that a lot of stuff about the anime was based on this remake and The Amazing Mirror.
There were also characters from Dream Land 2, 3, and Super Star. Not to mention there was an episode where Chef Kawasaki cooks Super Spicy Curry from the very first Kirby's Dream Land.
You didn't even need to do that they had the entire OST within the sound testing option in the game settings. I would just turn on my gba and play the music like that haha
+BigDDaHaterslayer This is likely referring to losing the cartridge somewhere in the house being unable to find it. That happened with Kirby Mass Attack for me.
This was the first version of Butter Building Building I've listened to. Whether you like Kirby-Nightmare in Dream Land or not, you gotta admit that it's really good.
@@BroodingAcornwhat do you mean by offbeat? Every note is so deep in the pocket lol. Nothing offbeat here unless you have a flawed understanding of music.
Still a bit disappointed that the actual stages in this remake didn't have the rotating tower sections that were in the original. That was the most memorable part of Butter Building for me.
+Sword Kirby Just like the original was showcasing the NES hardware, they were trying to show off the new fog effect in those rooms using the GBA hardware. Also, unlike the solid lines and colors of Kirby's Adventure, the faded art style of Nightmare in Dream Land's foreground tilesets make them difficult to look good animated, imo.

Here is my Childhood for this game : I played this game when i was about 6 years old. (Few years later) Looking EVERYWHERE for it. (Now) This game is in Wii U Virtual console? *Yus.*
I remembered hearing this song awhile ago. Then it just popped in my head out of nowhere. So I had no choice but to find where the song came from. Here we are!
Back in middle school, I'd have this game on my phone in an emulator. When I reached Butter Building, I just paused the game and turned up the volume, because I couldn't believe my ears in what I was hearing.
it's so magic the music of this game, was my first game on gba and reminds me when i was a child playing in my gba without problems and any responsabilities.
I never realized it before now, but the "Nightmare in Dream Land" version of this song removes the introduction bit the original NES "Kirby's Adventure" version had.
I heard it (the first version, from the 1993 Kirby's Adventure for NES) so many times as a little kid, I didn't even have to use music sheets for it xD
This game got me to appreciate and like the Kirbo experience even more. I loved K64:CS, especially that awesome extra mile they went with the abilities to combine them. I remember having a lot of fun with that game but ofc there are limitations and it's only a lil evident. These older Kirby games had so much going on the screen and the music was almost always upbeat and fitting for every level, so I just gotta pay respects. I know it's not the original but after playing it and then RtD it solidified how much of a gem our lil boy is. Thank you Sakurai for making such a precious lil cake monster.
this was the best time to be a kirby fan tbh. Kirby had an anime and smash bros melee was out by then. Plus amazing mirror (it's sequel) came out for the same system.
V0RT3X - Like, old enough to actually remember the 90's, if you were born in 1997 you wouldn't really have any memory and be raised/influenced in the 00's.
sorry, but my favorite ab is not ufo, is the ball, many people says that is hard to control, and all that... but thats the point, and if do you know how to use it, you rule the world, bcoz is very strong, really, 2 or 3 hits and the boss goes brbrrrr
I taught my (at the time) 5 year old cousin that classics are always fun and ended up giving her my NES and Atari 2600 for her 13th birthday because she played with them more than me! Very good memories of playing Combat and Space Invader with MY brothers when I was 5, and being able to play it with her while she was 5. She's now collecting older video games and has a collection of over 250 games! I'm a very proud cousin!!

What Amazing Mirror stuff was there in the anime? I must've missed it.
There were also characters from Dream Land 2, 3, and Super Star. Not to mention there was an episode where Chef Kawasaki cooks Super Spicy Curry from the very first Kirby's Dream Land.
Kirby right back at ya
the show.
Actually the anime was a marketing tool to promote the game soooooooo
it makes sense

Those dirty little rats snuck the song in, under our noses.

Well, shit.
From 0:30 I can hear where the Super Smash Bros Melee intro theme remixed this part where Zelda/Sheik is playing the harp in it.
This was the first version of Butter Building Building I've listened to.
Whether you like Kirby-Nightmare in Dream Land or not, you gotta admit that it's really good.
This is the definitive version in my eyes
IMO Epic Yarn's version DESTROYS every preceding version, but this is also pretty good and "vannila"

u.u yes is true

really??? wow i never played the new one.
That part of the stage with rotating tower is a stage in Kirby Fighters Deluxe now. It looks cool, just like the original, Of course with color.
Almost got held back my senior year for nearly flunking math by playing this with my friend on our phones, good times.
Zach Bordeaux Well at least you didn't get held back...

This song gives such a nostalgic feeling even if you’ve started or never played it
