    I’ve had a Glock 19 for over 15 years and it has never let me down . I recently purchased the Glock 29 10mm a few weeks ago and really digging it. Love my Glock’s 👍👍

      As a proud, old fart, I like hammer fired pistols. The Glocks have spongy triggers and striker fired guns really never appealed to me.
      Reliability is absolutely paramount, but Glock hasn't got a lock on it
      My CZ 2075 is many things: it's perfectly reliable, beautiful to look at, aluminum frame (no plastic), and hammer fired.
      Glocks are great guns, I've fired them in 45, 40, & 9mm, but in my opinion, CZ is it for me.
      Yes, we are rich to have a nearly unending variety of great firearms to choose from!

    I think it just depends with compacts. I stay away from compact glocks because they are hard to hone in for my big hands. The 17 is my absolute favorite. Great video!

    I think having lots of room for your little finger is not essential, since almost all of your gripping strength is in your first three fingers. The key difference between the two grips is where the palm swell is located. The lower palm swell on the G17/G45 vs. the G19 is why it feels so different.

    Have a 22 and 43. Also have 9mm barrel and mags for the 22, works for me.
    EDC? The 43. Grip fine with extended mag, still easy to conceal. If I ever need more rounds, extra mag is easy

    I thing you should do a bug out video for essential items only. Food items, radios, clothing and foot protection, protection- hand gun and rifle(hand gun for protection and rifle for hunting and protection). Water for cooking and drinking. Divided into two groups- 1. Family prep. 2. Individual prep. And don’t forget pets. I see to many bug out videos that sounds more like a camping trip than a run for your life and find a place to hide. I know each family will have different needs but there should be a list of priorities. The first thing on the the list should where are you going, and build the bug out list from there. I lived in south Florida during hurricane Andrew and my bug out plans had to change because of the roads being covered with debris. Now I live in the mountains of southern New Mexico and we have to keep our heads on a swivel, with the possibility or the once in a life time snow storm or a forest fire. On a different note if your gonna use a an AR-15 platform for protection but it’s note that great for food gathering/hunting. The 556/223 just don’t have the power I would rely on to feed my family. Just a few ideas I’d like to in a real bug out video. Keep in mind that most people don’t have a bunch of money to spend. I believe in November there will be a possible date for a real life bug out exercise.

    Have the 17, 45 is the next purchase for the reason of the shorter rail. The 17 has been a fine gun to own, harder to wear daily because of the length.

    Another good video, I carry both a 1911 and a Glock, not at the same time of course, LOL. I have been packing a Springfield Armory 1911 since the mid 80s, had some back/hip issues and the doctor recommended a lighter handgun to carry, so I bought a Glock, it is by far lighter, has more rounds and I like it a lot, it does leave a it to desire for me though in the area of the upper grip, the pressure against my middle finger and trigger guard/frame is uncomfortable, but I can still shoot the heck out of it. With ammo being so hard to find, (I just received an order last month for 1000 of 9mm, that I put in back in March) and the cost difference, the 9mm when you can find it is more cost effective to shoot than the .45, plus twice the ammunition capacity, I am sticking mostly with the Glock these days. Just my preference, I do love my 1911, but for carry as I get older, the Glock is my go too.

    I love the 19x/45... one thing though, I wouldn’t necessarily ditch the 19, because in SHTF you’d be able to use the 15,17 round mags. To b honest... the 26 would be the best SHTF pistol because of the mag versatility.

    • @WolfinProgress
      @WolfinProgress  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes the suppersor height sights can be seen through the red dot window even when the battery dies. Always good to have backups. I've had my front sight post melt off in the middle of a class after 200+ rounds. Better in class then when I needed it.

    As much as I love the g45 (with some mods) I'd really like the yin to the g45s yang.
    The grip is what prints most. The slide is an issue if seated a lot or carrying appendix. Im a below average size height guy but a g17 slide would still be fine appendix (its still shorter than the weapon light).
    A gen5 g17 slide with a g19 length grip. Gives the best of both worlds for CCW and mag compatibility.
    I'm not a fan of Glocks naming, but once you understand that its based on their patent number and can explain that it makes things less confusing 🤣

    • @TAVAAR7
      @TAVAAR7 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@WolfinProgress yeah, no option for a light so its out. A 26 would be a back up to a 19/reverse 17 in place of the p365. Either way I'd still have to get the larger version or cut my 45 grip down to take 19 mags (and I ike it how it is too much to do that, especially when if I get a 19 id be getting a dot capable version)
