Nah bro, the steering wheel isn't physically connected to the wheels, I'm never trusting that thing...
Probably shouldn't ever trust planes again then, the control on those are mechanical as well
@@ojthejuice7145 It's not that I can chose a plane where everything is mechanically connected. There simply is none. But I CAN chose an electric truck other than Cybertruck...
If you accept not having control physically you basically agree that your life is at risk and in hands of a computer. And pay 80k for it aswell 😂
Almost every car now is steer by wire.
Don't get an Infiniti Q60 then. Some of them are drive by wire. Not to mention all of the other manufacturers that do drive by wire for newer vehicles.

CRS tends to rust rather quickly without any kind of treatment to protect it. I milled a putter this summer out of it and its already developed rust spots just from sitting in my garage
They developed their own rust proof steel. You can read about it if you do about a minute of research.

NO, it's not 30 times cold rolled stainless steel.
It is a 300 series stainless steel. Like 302 or 304, but the last digit is just a placeholder X. They are keeping it a proprietary secrete, so they have not released the "recipe".
“The Kraby patty secret recipe”
i thought the same thing immediately. was laughing so much at that 😹
probably 304 since that and 316 are the most commonly used stainless types in the world. I doubt they've made a special "Tesla" stainless steel.
@@angusmccarthy9507 I wouldn’t had doubt since Tesla usually doesn’t the odd thing be cause they can, I.e giga press, the folding machine for the cybertruck, structural battery pack.
And considering Tesla and Spacex are so closely linked they probably share material science with them
I tell you what, you better get some stainless steel wax on it because I've heard that rain and morning dew can cause them to rust in certain spots as typical stainless steel does
Love the weather and clouds ☁️...❤
“bullet resistant” in other words if you get shot at with something bigger than a .380 then you’re screwed.
(i was wrong, actually stopped 9mm which is pretty decent)
Why are you getting shot by .380
Bullet resistant is not the same as bullet proof.
Are you driving through a war zone?
So far it has stopped 9mm, .45 out of a Tommy gun, and 12 Gauge shotgun shells. They call it “resistant” for legal reasons.

Strong enough to protect against pedestrian collisions
That’s what I’ve been wondering, how in the world did this thing pass pedestrian safety? So many sharp edges and literally no crumple zones
@@willtaggartthis truck will actually crumple very very well. not that that matters with pedestrians. it received max safety score as with every other Tesla vehicle
@@pullfunnystickno it won’t, a simple google search will tell you that it doesn’t have ample enough crumple zones for a hood of its size and will be more ‘stiff than other vehicles’
Essentially, if you get into a crash the other car with crush it’s self hitting your truck due to its size and stiffness of the material.
The cyber truck is probably going to be American only due to EU countries requiring much stricter pedestrian and non occupant safety standards.

Damn, that "up to 340 miles" didn't age well did it. Lmao
Honestly there shouldn't be a single EV that can't go AT LEAST 500 miles on a single charge. A gasoline powered car can go further than that and takes less time to fill up.
@@WilliamsWrestlin It just isn't possible with battery tech today. Honestly I think that these long range EV's should go away and people should use EV's for around town or commutes only.
Remove the restrictions from gas cars so we get ones with better fuel economy and just keep working on both sides.
Why not? Ru gonna cry more
And that’s something you have to literally wait a long freaking time for. Definitely not something I would trust, if I were in a hurry or if I were in an emergency. And that’s any Tesla or other EV! Plus, it’s still not green if the grid that powers it is still by fossil fuels.
