    Adley rutschman, what can I say. His parents raised him right. His grandfather is legendary as well his grandson will be. Adley is a class act.

    "When you hang it up, make sure the guy who wears that number next knows who you are". That's the thing every ball player strives for and the one of the things that makes Pat Casey so great

      I agree. I also think that’s why you don’t retire numbers.

    I can watch this everyday because it was the beautiful moment for the Beavers. We don’t get a lot of support from the school but that doesn’t matter because the loyal fans are with you now and forever! ❤❤ OSU baseball will always be number 1

    That was great. I hope AR can bring a WS title to the Orange & Black of the Orioles soon.

    Amazing the Beavs won the CWS with their best player (Madrigal) and best pitcher (Heimilch) playing less than their best and their lead off hitter (Kwan) injured and out of the lineup. Rutschman, Larnach and Abel were unbelievable.

    What's so ironic is that while Adley Rutschman was on Oregon State, Heston Kjerstad was on Arkansas. Now, they're both on the O's

      True, but with a 5-0 lead, and no one on...they usually give the pitcher the benefit of the doubt. Abel was on a whole different level.

    Poor Abel. They left him in for 129 pitches that last game. Now it's Tommy John time.

    • @kylewilson2819
      @kylewilson2819 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That’s not what causes Tommy John. TJ is caused by poor mechanics over an extended period of time, which damages your elbow. Abel pitched 3-4 games the following year before having to spend a couple weeks rehabbing a sore shoulder. During that rehab, he damaged his elbow and required TJ surgery. His pitch count in the CWS had nothing to do with it

    • @patrickmcgowan1252
      @patrickmcgowan1252 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kylewilson2819 Nope. Fatigue is the number one cause.

    • @kylewilson2819
      @kylewilson2819 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Patrick McGowan That isn’t true at all. TJ is caused by poor mechanics and usually through throwing a lot of breaking balls. And even IF fatigue played a role in TJ, go back and watch Abel pitch. He wasn’t fatigued at all. His pitches didn’t lose any velocity or location, which would certainly have happened if he were fatigued. And don’t forget, Abel played a majority of the non conference schedule the following year. He got a minor injury (Shoulder, not elbow) during a game against Coastal Carolina, and then injured his elbow in a rehab practice session several weeks later that required TJ surgery. The CWS has nothing to do with it.

      Clay Brazier well Carson does deserve it, along with the first baseman and the right fielder. Someone shoulda called it and Arkansas finally would’ve gotten the most amount of glory we’ve had since our one CFB national championship in the sixties
