Made my first thing with our Fiber Laser

April 4th, 2024. My wife, Michelle, showed me how she created a bas relief and, subsequently, turned it into a depth map in order to use the fiber laser to create a challenge coin from a brass coin blank. When I bought the fiber laser my main thoughts were of creating challenge coins (for fun). I created the artwork bas relief and edited it with Procreate on my iPad. Then imported the file into the Lightburn software and lasered it onto the coin. It was an enjoyable process for me to do on a dreary and rainy day. And I’m very happy with the results, although I did make some changes for future coins.
