The idea for this series is to capture an artist alone in the Hague Gallery at the Creative City Centre. This video was recorded live on May 11th, 2015. www.creativecit...
thank Hell or High Water for gettin this guy out there. goin to see him this weekend in minnesota. have his upcoming album pre ordered on vinyl. huge fan
Brewery session live is by far the best version of this song I bought the iTunes one (this one) and was sad. Can you put brewery session up for sale? I'll buy it too!
@@MavenFade I disagree that his vocals in the brewery sessions are better. They don't sound natural at all. His vocals in the performances for CBC and Paste are superior.
My favorite is the one you can find on the apple store. He has a Boyle neck slide thing he does on his guitar and it just sets out more emotion. I highly suggest y’all to check it out
@@MrJeroen71 Two steps down from standard tuning (low E tuned down to D, A tuned down to G, D down to C etc with a capo on the 3rd fret. It;s in the key of C#/Bbm. Standard tuning with a capo on the 1st fret and same chord positions as this video comes close enough though IMO
Damn this IS country, spirit of Johnny is alive and well.
I'm now a fan
My goodness this is a great song people. He's filling the shoes of singers past.
Spread the word!
Spread the news folks this guy is for real

The vocals on it and on all the other brewery sessions he was on are self-admittedly forced, and it's not how he plays and sings anymore.
@@Liam-fx9xf doesn't mean it still is superior sounding

@@Liam-fx9xf Totally agree, its funny though, i will listen and like both, according to my mood. Like they are two different songs.
he's bad ass i got to hang with him in Cincinnati after his show. He's a real cool dude.
He is going places
You are fantastic in an empty room.
This video seemed so rushed compared to the others
He also omits the buildup to the last sentence…loses a lot of the musicality
He’s playing at a faster tempo. It happens
He was probably out of breath from climbing all the stairs to get into this particular venue.
Holy shit what is this fuckery of goodness. Colter is a god
his brewery session of this was way better. really gave thay kick drum a run for its money! sad it got pulled for what ever reason.
Rook Et YES
Good thing it's back.
It’s up again
