In 1989 Dr.L.S.Kandasamy started "Thannambikkai" a monthly magazine which emphasis strongly only on Individual's Self Improvement & Science, he never diluted or deviated from his track. He started "Thannambikkai" as 16 pages demy sized magazine, it had a circulation of 500 copies. The subscribers were none other than his friends, associates & staff.
By the joint effort of Dr. LSK's family and friends, the magazine has reached the magical figure of 20,000 copies in 25 years. With Circulation all over TN, not to mention "Thannambikkai" has also spread it wings to Andhra, Kerala & Mumbai. You could positively call it a Himalayan task for "Thannambikkai" is the only magazine in Tamil for Self Improvement. This magazine cannot be read in a lighter vein. Righteous thoughts and Actions of Dr LSK keep the magazine going and would spread its message to the world at large.
