Hi Ali. You need the drawings at least. Sometimes there’s a scope of work that has more details, and sometimes there is information in the specifications. If you want us to do the estimate for you, send me the plans or invitation to bid to info@iambuilders.com. Do you have plans for your project?
I have a small concrete business in Phoenix, AZ. Do you have a system for concrete foundations with slabs for commercial and residential projects? What about site work? as some jobs maybe similar, details can be very different job to job. Because my business is small it's hard to retain skilled labor from project to project. I do well for myself but would like to grow. Do you have a video on construction loans and what is the best way to fund projects when some of the GC's i work with don't pay out in a consistent manor and I find I'm having to bank the job for at least 30 to 45 days.
Hey Roger. Yes we have a system to help you get more concrete and sitework jobs. Also I can show you the way to finance your jobs without using your money. Let’s set up a phone call. Here is a link to my calendar: www.iambuilders.com/call
I have a garage door company, do you have any solution strategy for bid system, this is usually flat rate system and the issue is under bidders out there that screw up industry.

I actually calculate an idea of how many hours I really need. So if I know the framing will take 4 weeks, I put 4 weeks of a full time salary. Then during hanging, I might need part-time supervision. I might even have a working-foreman. So 80% of his salary is in the labor already. This is the correct way to estimate so you put enough in your budget. Most people underprice their supervision, and it ends up coming out of their own profit.
Hi Martin. Yea you can also use these same principles to estimate landscape construction. Just figure what your labor hours are and your material costs using your vendors and/or a cost database. What kind of work do you do?
Awesome that’s great. We work with landscape contractors also. Do you do things like retaining walls, site concrete, etc? We’re here to help. Anything you need feel free to call me at 305-433-6432 or email me directly to daniel@iambuilders.com.
# 3, I wont agree. It varies with every line Items. The Costlier Materials wont take the same Labor. Installing Marble Flooring isn't the same as of Marble Steps. Rest You are right. Thanks for such an informative Video. www.youtube.com/@khalidbaacha

What percentage are you using for your supervisor?
