One of your shorts abouts lighting changed everything. I always knew that something was missing in my house and why it looks so boring. Having some more warm lights makes a huge difference
I literally just bought that Mid Century Modern book its AMAZING! Your house, vlogs, and lifestyle have inspired me so much and i just want to say thank you! Have a fantastic day
your house is actually so cool, i love how you did the interior design and i LOVEEE the nijntje (miffy) stuff from the japan trip haul! she's the cutest ever
Hi! I'm French and I'm following you since day one, I love your videos, it gives me so much inspiration, I loved your loft, and I love even more your new house, it's my dreamed home, I feel a lot like you, from a designed home point of view, even though I still rent a "small" appartment with my boyfriend, and I have A LOT of old furniture, actually I earn only second hand furniture or furniture that my grandma gave me, so it's like veeeeeery old, but I can see a lot of similarities betwien us, I hope, in spite of my French influencing my English spelling and locution, that you can understand me ☺love you (in a friendy figure of speech (don't want to make yout girlfriend jealous (us French we love multiple parenthesis))) :D
If your girlfriend loves Miffy that much, you 2 need to come to the Netherlands. In particular Utrecht, as that’s the birthplace of Miffy (known here as Nijntje). And it has a Nijntje museum. 😊
I was just talking about needing to find some way to clip the vines of my plants to the wall... never thought about cable management clips; great idea!
but becareful... some roots LOVE those walls and will attach deeper with the roots than you'll like......... in the worst case you won't get the plant off the wall without tearing half of it down.
I am guilty of buying a second suitcase in Japan, but I was just buying *everything* I liked. I definitely will go back, but probably won't buy so much stuff on the second go around.
i’m generally not someone who shops when i travel - like you’re family i’d rather spend my time on ~experiences~ that being said, i totally had to buy another suitcase in japan for all my shopping 😂 i’m 5’0, and once i realized how well the clothes fit me out there compared to the US, i just couldn’t help myself lol
Just came across this.. Such a relaxing and cozy video.. Really made my day today. It's been rough, so thanks for this! :) ps I have the same pair of black salomons! :D
I left Japan about a month ago and I miss it. I got a pair of the onisuka tigers but they plan on shipping to the US again. Google says August if 2024 so it might already be available 😊
Don’t get me wrong, I love your space and your videos, but I feel like the apartment is getting too crowded with furniture. I think the beauty of having a clean and warm space is to leave the necessary spots empty and not filling them with new furniture pieces. In my opinion this would give the rooms much more character and peacefulness.
Hahaha it definitely is getting up to capacity - to be fair interior design content is a large part of what I do for a living and setting up new pieces is a great way to give my audience ideas for their spaces. With that being said I’m always rotating things out and giving extra pieces to friends and family who need them!
Always a good day when he uploads.
@@imericwang Please upload every Friday so we can all have a good start to the weekend!

@@SirMopy Oh definitely! I've been keeping an eye on it to make sure it doesn't actually attach but good info for others who might not be aware.
im inlove with your house some day I want to live in a gorgeous home. Its one of the cozy looking houses I've ever seen.
I am guilty of buying a second suitcase in Japan, but I was just buying *everything* I liked. I definitely will go back, but probably won't buy so much stuff on the second go around.

Hiya! Have you got a link for the underbed storage? It's so cool that it clips to the frame
What a coincidence! I recently bought the same cat T-shirt from Uniqlo lol

🙏🙏🙏
What is the name of that colour on tour wall , exact name please, is it taupe
i think its pretty much pure white, we just get a lot of great natural light which makes it seem more cream colored!
I just want to know is why didn't you choose architectural interior design major in university 😊
I consume therefore I am. Descartes.
理想の家
Does anyone know where he lives???
San Francisco Bay Area. Somewhere suburbs.
IMHO, you are buying too many things. You have good taste but have lost the simplicity that your space needs.
Small/med/big purchases like those are what makes a home feel like a home
