Quick question. I am new to aquaponics and setting up a 300 gal system with Tilapia. When the fish are ready to harvest do they need to be moved into a clean water holding tank for a few days allowing them to purge any unpleasant particulate before selling to the market?
I know the commercial folks here in Oz will purge the fish before processing. I'm not sure about tilapia though as we're not allowed to keep them down here.
I hope this gets to you. I'm having problems. I cannot get the bell to stop siphoning. I have added more back pressure I have made my holes bigger at the bottom of the bottle I have no clue how to get a picture to you of my set up.
