Its become a way of making the game more interesting for me tbh😂 Taking out the entire pack but the alpha and then becoming their mate. Good ole game of thrones with wolves 👍🏿
I like how wolfquest is one of the only games that can make you actually feel for your mate and pups. One of my wolves was with his mate for 6 litters and when she died, I was actually sad.
Fr I get so sad when I lose pups to illness. My second oldest iron wolf to my long bloodline I've been working to build was the first ever wolf of mine to reach age 8 and then a bear killed her mate and her then their two pups and bc the parents died first the pups didnt save she was 9 at the time so shes forever 8 :( Her son lived to 8 and died peacefully beside his mate while watching their pups play and it actually made me cry
@@Glitch_330 Yep but you have to kill both leaders and when the leaders are gone the dot (Of they're home site) will dissapear and the pack members subordinates and the yearlings of this pack will start dispersing.

It could have been a glitch, I've seen a few mates feed pups when they aren't that hungry but I have never seen them repeatedly waste food so it might have been a glitch.
Thats definitely a glitch, they're not supposed to waste food like that. Also, while courting pack wolves, don't do any confident emotes (like confident tail wag) because they can be perceived as a threat
If only taking control of a pack leader allowed you to control the pack subordinates and all then you could kill the pups and foster your next generation 😂
I've mated with a pack leader who still had their pack. The benefit is strength in numbers and pretty high pack affinity even if you just howl once. It's a whole lot easier to hunt and win against other packs or competiton. The only downside is that once you mate with a pack leader, you adopt their pups and have to complete the young hunters challenge that's now in the saga!
In the Known Wolves tab you can see all the wolves you've met, and if they're from a pack they'll have a "role". There's subordinates, yearlings, and Pack Leaders :) it shows as an X if they're dead (04:44)
Do you have any tips on tracking down the leader once it becomes a dispersal? I’ve been trying to find it for HOURS but can’t no matter where I go. It still says the wolf is alive and in this map 😭😭 please help ke

Whats the benefit to being mates with the ex leader? Do they have age perks or something?
no benfits. just for the roleplay. also you get an older mate (the oldest you can find usualy are 4) if that matters for some reason
I don't think there are any benefits, just for fun lol
