Great review. Loved your honest opinion and advice on modifications. And who could forget that great sound after your review.

Nice demonstration. I got the Souna Strat because of the different sounding pickups. Yes, it does get dings much easier. It's going to have a relic look in just a year. Love the ebony fret board. You rarely see that on a Fender.

Excellent review Stephon can't decide between the Suona & the Eric Johnson thinline's, might have to buy them both!

This is one has the novelty of being very different from the other thinline variants. It's light and feels like a completely different. Would recommend you find one to try out for sure

Aye Thanks for this review brother Stephon! What type of strings and gauge did you use in this video? And Is that what you use normally for all your guitars?

I use 10s on all my electrics. daddario nyxls. Thought about experimenting with Flatwoods on this particular guitar though

I picked up a suona tele when they came out cause i thought the specs were really cool. Once i had the guitar in hand I was left pretty disappointed. I have an ultra strat and love it. The build quality is great for the cost and i think i was expecting that type of quality from a 3k suona. Unfortunately it just seemed cheap, sounded ok but the fit and finish left a bit to be desired compared to my ultra so i sent it back and got an ultra tele instead and saved $1,000. That strat does sound good though. Nice video.

I totally know what you mean. I have an Ulta Luxe Strat and as for an everyday workhorse it's gonna be that guitar. I also thought the Suona felt cheap but chalked it up to the exotic woods and the specs being different from any guitar I've ever had. Ultimately I don't think it's worth 3k considering my ultra and other guitars but I do think you have to spend some time with it to get used to the "feel"

@@stephonwilliams8890 It was the exotic woods that made me buy it lol. I probably should’ve spent more time with it. It did have some really nice qualities, nice neck and great resonance and the smell was awesome. Something about that wood and nitro cellulose smelled amazing.
