0:30 I don't know if Simon intended for this to be a joke but "The imovable force and the unstoppable object" is just a good line to comment on two astra diesels
@mobby1986 if you wondering what he meant he by that what he means is that 2 Astra Diesels being idnetical nothing will give one car an edge over the other, immoveable force being a force that no matter what you do you can't move or change it, and the unsoppable object being a object that can't be stopped under any circumstance, meaning that one thing can't win (i think it's whats called a deadlock)
...and was the meaning he was trying to convey lost? I understand the definition of "force", and you are right, he is technically wrong... I'm pretty sure everyone understands what he was getting at.
Simon Pegg is in Hot Fuzz, Shaun Of The Dead, Paul, The Boxtrolls, Absolutely Anything and he also starred in The Adventures of Tintin with Jamie Bell, Daniel Craig and Nick Frost. He is a great National Treasure.
@alphaprawns Simon Pegg did it in the Kia Cee'd. That's the current car they've got, the first model was the Suzuki Liana and the one after that was the Chevrolet Lacetti : )
Car connaisseurs in the US like the same cars as you guys do, and we crack on American cars just as much as Clarkson does. I think the best solution is just to air the UK version here, and if they had to have a US version; they could schedule it in the first half hour, and the UK version in the second.
So, Jimmy Car in a previous/later episode was 1,46 (or something) at the top of the leader board, and showing 2.08 in this one? Looks like things didn't go well in that one....:)
@Tcrumpen i think he put that because its suppose to be 'unstoppable force, immovable object' and simon pegg said it the other way round and thats why its funny and thumbed up :)
people always try to overcomplicate that theory all that happens is that the force gets deflected to another direction. and as such the force stays unstoppable and the object - immovable :P
2/3 Miller and Anheuser-Busch are both owned by foreign companies; Ford and GM will probably end up being owned by foreign companies. Actually, there is a lot of good beer being made here, but the big companies fight to keep it from being sold in stores.
If you look at it, "would of" makes absolutely no sense, the only reason people make this mistake is because the spoken contraction "would've/should've" etc sounds like would/should of.
Simon did a really good, solid and promising lap. If those last 2 corners were faster, he'd have very possibly either beaten Gordon Ramsay or been just below Gordon Ramsay.
I like how Simon's impersonation of Nick Frost was extremely spot on!

That Obi-Wan impression had me rolling! Had to rewind it, I didn’t expect him to be that level of funny in interviews!
this is what top gear needs, more guests like simon pegg
his Obi Wan voice was amazing!!
Holy cow, that Sir Alec Guinness impression was spot-freaking-on! Now I can’t get the thought of Ben Collins speaking to him through the Force!
Yes he is. Best actor on the best television show! Great stuff
"slower on the corner simon, slower on the corner....." XD hahahahahahahahahah!!!
I love Simon's impression of Nick. "I'm an Actor! I'm an Actor!"
He's also in "Spaced" - awesome TV show!
3:00 perfect Alec Guinness impression

Simon Pegg has one of the greatest laughs I've ever heard.
Star wars analysis, then a year later he´s on Star Trek.
now we knew how he got the role
@Nathaniel Miller Exactly, he was also in Star Wars
0:25 Did he just say immovable force and unstoppable object?
...
Kaas Ambrook It's supposed to be unstoppable force and immovable object
...
...and was the meaning he was trying to convey lost? I understand the definition of "force", and you are right, he is technically wrong... I'm pretty sure everyone understands what he was getting at.
Russel Johnson Minute science did a video on this and they're pretty much the same thing when you tear them down.
+Russel Johnson he mixed two words up in the heat of the moment....? big whoop.

ROFL at his Nick impression. Pretty good!
Love the fact he did an essay on Star Wars from a Marxist perspective hahaha
and he ended up being in Star Wars ep VII
People say that Simon has done the sci fi triad: Star Wars, Star Trek and Doctor Who.
@@bookwoman53 He has. I think DW was first and SW last.
He took those corners like a pro regardless of the last
Simon Pegg is an inspiration to nerds everywhere
That was a really funny interview... "slow on the corner Simon, slow on the corner" lol

Everytime I look at Simon Pegg it just makes me want to laugh.
Ribbo, that was an excellent point! im so gonna steal that off you
There have been 2 different celebrity cars. Jimmy has driven both. He did 1.46.9 in the Liana and 2.08.1 in the Lacetti.
@alphaprawns Simon Pegg did it in the Kia Cee'd. That's the current car they've got, the first model was the Suzuki Liana and the one after that was the Chevrolet Lacetti : )
The 1:46 was in the first car. He spun out on his hot lap in the second car and got a 2:08.
This guy is almost as fast as Obi Wan Kenobi.
I cant wait for his new movie to come out.
anyone watched the film big nothing?
its pretty good its got simon in it

True freedom and liberty are when you can do whatever you want, as long as you don't harm others or take away from their rights.
Hello Ashens :)) He surely looks like Simon Pegg.
brilliant. the obi-one impression rocked! =D
Graham Norton has a wiley
How do you know? 😂😂

Everytimne I remember that he was in Band of Brothers I still can't quite believe it
@ExistUNDRGROUND It's a Lacetti I think.... I dunno if it sells over in the States

I think an unmovable force wouldn't stand a chance against an unstoppable object.
The proper answer to that paradox would be: the unstoppable force stops, and the immovable object moves
ah this one made me feel much better after watching the simon cowell interview
how fast did stig did it?
Lol. That impression was very good XD
LOL at his Obi Wan Kenobi impersonation.
Jimmy Carr did it in 1:46 how come his time is 2:08???
If you look at it, "would of" makes absolutely no sense, the only reason people make this mistake is because the spoken contraction "would've/should've" etc sounds like would/should of.

What movie is Pegg talking about?
Hot Fuzz.
his Ben Kenobi impression sounds a lot like James May
At 2:40 revelation about the Graham Norton's intromittent organ.
As an American, that statement was hilarious! Hahaha.
Simon Pegg plays WoW.
