Yep. I’m editing it today. Look for it to post soon. It’s so hard to explain how to do a valve adjustment. The key is getting the right amount of drag on the gauge. Look for a video soon. Thanks for watching!!!
Great videos! Always very informative and detail oriented. A year later, do you stand by using the Right Stuff and anaerobic gasket maker on the plugs and gasket? It’s not in Bentley, but maybe you heard this from an experienced mechanic?
Thanks for watching. I’m glad you posted because I was actually thinking about this topic. I recently replaced (couple days ago) the valve cover gasket because I had a leak (btm rt of cylinder head). The anaerobic sealant made the vc gasket difficult to remove because it became hardened and stuck in a few spots. An hour with the razor and it was cleaned, but what a pain. Looking back, I’d say ditch the anaerobic sealant. I installed the new gasket dry expect for Right stuff on the rocker plugs (that’s a must) and no leaks. I did have an experienced tech, who is still a master tech, suggest anaerobic sealant. I think I like the idea of a dry gasket with right stuff applied where needed. Thanks for comment as it was well timed!!! -Tom

Good idea to replace the hexhead bolts with the newer torx style botls as they then to snap over time!!
Agreed! I’m toying with the idea of converting to a 2.9 stroker so there’s a chance the engine might be coming out soon.
