Great advice and I agree with your stance, unfortunately "most" people do not. I was in a 21 year marriage, he walked away from the kids and I. He has since been with multiple women and is completely defiled now. I have had to take on both parental roles, raising our children by myself, providing for them and trying to show them the biblical way to live vs. their father's lifestyle choices. I did not want the divorce and had no say in the matter. I am not trying to play the victim, I see God's hand of provision in my life. He is a good Father and has provided abundantly for my kids and I. I can only imagine and hope I will receive my reward in heaven for obediently following Jesus through this trial in my life.

We see divorce as well as remarriage adultery and out of context exemption clauses propagated by mainstream church as a evil work of darkness we will have no fellowship with.
Also a big one is the command of Christ. We as single people cannot marry divorcees with an ex still living. So, after the age of 30, it seems most gals have been married once (there are exceptions and ways to find them). So what's a guy to do. Wait 20 - 30 years for tragedy to happen and seek a relationship with a widow? It's kind of hard getting into the game at 60 if you were never in the game to begin with. Maybe that's the ineptness you're speaking of.

Brothers are you against remariage? My lord, this is a miracle in Canada. Are you able to help me and my family? I live in Quebec and we have no church nowadays since a week ago. We left because of that essentially.
