    Thank you. I love the value of open G. When you can get the haunting sounds of the Moonlight Mile intro, the funk of Brown sugar and the dirt of Can’t you hear me knocking, I think it is pure genius, what Keith did with that tuning.

    • @udohoppe6243
      @udohoppe6243 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dear Tim , believe it or not : the "riff" guitar was played by Mick Jagger ! Solo/melodic guitar of course Mick Taylor . I read this in a book that Keef was not the player on Moonlight Mile . Only backing vocals and a very little part on guitar. The same for the song " Sway ". Rhytm guitar Jagger . He learned guitar playing from Keef of course - what a fabulous teacher !

    • @bcsemotorworks2462
      @bcsemotorworks2462 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Mick wrote the Brown Sugar riff. It's Keith on the song recording, though, as he tightened it up. Mick on acoustic on Moonlight yup.

    Another way to play the section over the 'Cant you hear me knocking' is to play the high b & d at 7th fret 'cant you hear' then at 5th fret 'me' than barred on 5th high b & d plus b at 7th (same time) 'knock' & then bar at 5th high b & d for 'in' of knock'in fame.

    amazing. I tried watching other guys that taught you how to play it.. but it was too slow. there was too many explanations. I guess it was becoming "too easy" to be told exactly what to do. this, is what I like. your explanations are fantastic, or your lack of explanation. depends on the video. I find your camera angle very easy to follow, many guys just want to put fancy shit in the backround and you cant actually see the guitar... anyways. thanks for this one. been struggling with it
