Rock en Español is almost as old as Rock n Roll, since the early 1960's, great quality bands emerged that were great stars not only in Mexico, but internationally recognized. One of them is the one formed by Carlos Santana that had great success in Festivals such as Woodstock, without forgetting Ritchie Valens, Los Lobos, The Ramones and many others of that old school. Then in the 80's the rock genre resurfaced with great force both in Spain and in Latin America, with groups that are now classics such as Soda Stereo, Enanitos Verdes, La Unión, Héroes del Silencio, Maná and many more. In recent years, just as rock in English had an existential crisis, it also declined in Latin America, opting for a more "pop" or even "alternative" style and without so much original production. I forgive you for saying that the song is in Mexican. In Mexico we have our very unique version of the Spanish language due to our phrasal verbs and idioms, which are very much our own. So you could kinda say that we do speak Mexican Spanish. Kinda like the difference between American and British English.

As some others have mentioned, my favorite performance of this song is from Foro DiDi in Monterrey. It was the first time they performed it live and it just has a little more F.U. behind it. As some others have mentioned, my favorite performance of this song is from Foro DiDi in Monterrey. It was the first time they performed it live and it just has a little more F.U. behind it.
