I love how they have safety precautions specifically for the dogs so they don't get overweight or someone doesn't accidentally drop them, and they still get taken out for walks and have shifts so they're not making the dogs stay there too long. Also very interesting how they chose specific breeds that are known to be lap dogs rather than just dogs that look appealing that would not do as well in this type of setting. I've also never seen a Chihuahua that relaxed before, this place is doing a great job lol
Same, for a long time i had never met a chihuahua before but recently i have too. The one i met was so tiny and soft and surprisingly calmer than most people think about chihuahua’s.
@@lilacsanctuary3323 I've met quite a few Chihuahuas and most of them are not calm like that. They also seem to get set off very easily compared to other dogs but I guess they have to be in guard all the time because they're so tiny lol
I have 2 chihuahuas at home. They are sweet and friendly. It is so sad, that these stereotypes make people think like this.
@@alexa9647 I've literally met and taken care of several Chihuahuas. There is one that is basically my family member now and the older they've gotten the more aggressive they've gotten towards people (including their own owner). The breed is literally known for being extremely anxious, and I did not say that it made them bad dogs. I would also be anxious all the time if I was smaller than most people's heads 💀
Having been a dog groomer for a while, along with selling pet food, I can say that these dogs all look great and well cared for...also the times they've sat on your feet means they have 'chosen' you. :P

I liked the long haired dachshund that was sleepy in his lap.
The doxies are so cute and adorable, the black one even doing the doxie lean ahh. I’ve one myself but he’s 3x bigger than these since he’s a standard. All the dogs look trim and nice, no over feeding and w a defined waist. They look healthier than what dogs usually look like in these type of cafes.
The chihuahua in the dress 👗 is my favorite. All of the dogs are so adorable 🥰
At first I was thinking, how sad for a dog not to have a "forever home", but then I realized that every dog in that cafe is a member of the pack, and pack is the dog word for FAMILY.
Yes, I had some of the same thoughts Ryan Taylor, but I'm still not sure if those dogs seemed happy. Well taken care of, yes.

This is SO THERAPEUTIC for those that love dogs and just want to visit. They all have sweet dispositions. 4:49 I had to laugh at the chihuahua trying to butt in cuz she was jealous. My 2 chi's do the same thing. Very high energy dogs some of them. They get territorial and claim you as their human 🤣🥰
Some of the reasons I'm falling in love with Japan: its vast majority of polite, respectful citizens; beautifully clean and well maintained villages/towns/cities; stunning scenery, innovative business models combined with caring for what may have otherwise been stray animals (kitten/puppy cafes). Not to mention its plethora of wild and wacky vending machines! I'd love to win a million (pounds sterling) and go on a tour of Japan from the top to the bottom and back again (on their amazing ferries). Hugs from Scotland, wonderful Japan x

I loved the white poodle! It's been since 2005 I had a dog. Our Rottweiler died at the age of 13 from cancer. I never could bring myself to get another dog! My cats have all been strays that found their way to me. Very cute place, thanks for the tour!💕🐩

The dog café is a very relaxing place. Which kind of surprised me. I really thought the dogs would be running around chasing each other and jumping on everyone; but they were very well behaved and sweet. My only wish was that there could have been some of the larger breeds represented. I understand why they would not (If this is the case.) The dogs would definitely have to be well trained and well behaved; but I think is true for all dogs though. I had watched the cat café video earlier and loved it too. Thus I decided to become a subscriber and toss a treat to the both of you! Thanks for sharing this sweet video. I will be enjoying more of your content!
