I just started watching these teardrop build videos with the idea of building one myself. I’m nearing that certain age of retirement and wanted an alternative staying anchored to a home for the duration. I find the minimalist approach intriguing and adventurous. Your videos have provided a fountain of information as far as do’s and don’ts and wether or not to tackle a home build. Thank you so much for sharing. Oh, and by the way, Bui is such a scene grabber. He is such an old, loving and happy soul. That comes also from his “parents”. What breed is he?
Make sure you have a relay inline with the positive wire going to the trailer. The relay should energize when the ignition key is in the on/run position. This will prevent the trailer from draining the car battery when the engine isn't running.
Love you guys for your effort... I'm building another teardrop style here in Oz with the same materials. Being somewhat disabled I decided against getting the same kit, but loved the construction materials. I just bought the "CTEK" system a couple of months ago and had worried if I did the right thing... seems you agree. Love the videos, sorry about the "NO GLOBAL Climate CHANGE" storm, cutting your power.. maybe time to test the solar panels... ;)
Your drones and camera equipment most certainly run on DC....you just have to convert it to access so that you can plug the AC chargers in which will then convert back into DC to charge the batteries ....rule of thumb, mostly everything with a battery runs on dc
How much is the kit

Do you have a google doc with these charts. I think I am going to mimic you guys exactly.
It seems like there's a little bit of overlap in the functionality of the Xantrex and CTEK systems. Do you really need both?
Great explanation! You've made so I can understand it and now I feel like I could do it. Thanks for doing all the research and providing the links.
I found this super informative - great stuff!

Seetec astronomy ???
How is your drawbar weight? I stuck my 100AH battery behind the axle under the floor, bolted to the frame. Fortunately its a maintance free one.
Just wondering if you need to provide a second earth directly from tear drop in case you want to detach trailer and use car during the day???
Been waiting for this episode. Hope you guys are doing well down there. GA didn't get git to to bad where I'm at.
Great videos. Can you put a link with the wiring schematic of your electrical system. Love Bodie, he is a great dog!
Have you studied the heat management inside the electrical brain box?
Waterlust , I suggest you add an automatic breaker in your circuit in case the temperature rises too much.

Just found your channel subscribed. I uploaded a video of my build today.
