I've got a wood chipper I stick my hands in all the time. I just know where the blades are and never push that far. Seems like the pug mill operator has a good handle on whole situation and doesn't put his fingers near the discharge end of the exposed screw.

Is this white clay they must have added some feldspar and quartz to it, is this local white clay?

@@jabeenirfan8218 I'm certain it's not straight kaolin. Pakistan has lots of high mountains. It's probably a bit like Lincoln 60, a secondary clay from weathered granite.

How long does the clay stay in the press to get the water out of it? Do you pour in the liquid clay mud into the canvas and then out it in the press?

Liquid clay automatically comes into the molds by pump and it's staying in the press only for the time when water is completely squeezed.
