This was the funniest. As a kiwi it was sweet to hear them say such nice things about us/New Zealand. I love Brittany but that accent attempt was so bad (also kinda funny). Kelly was so on point about the best way to piss us off is saying we’re Aussie. Very true. And yes please to a Pitch Perfect 4. No idea if they could come up with another storyline but one with Kelly would be awesome and such a full circle considering the audition song in PP1 was a Kelly song.
Also yes we 100% have a fly season... basically all of summer. They come inside when you have the sliding doors open and they are just pesky and super annoying. So pretty much most people spend summer shouting at flies to f off 🤣

I live in New Zealand and I didn't know there was a fly season haha. I thought she was getting confused with Australia.

New Zealanders talk in a kind of like an uppity way and their tongue is very close to the front of their mouth and they kind of talk with their teeth more. Australian accents tend to be deeper slightly and they talk more with their jaw and their throat. But like specifically the words seven and bin like they're just those two words specifically I can hear it .Also the native people of Australia are commonly called aboriginals.

No there is definitely a fly season. Its basically the hot months (Dec-March). Once you get one or two around you end up with a good 5-10. They are super pesky and annoying. I had about 4 hanging around my living room this afternoon. My family get them in other parts of the country too so its definitely a thing over summer/this time of year. We do get other bugs too but not that common. Summer flies and mosquitoes are the main annoying ones.
When she mentioned this it reminded me of Sand Storm season in Egypt called The khamsin. We arrived in Cairo one year just as the last day of a 10 day storm passed. The skies were so dusty & cloudy. Luckily it blew over pretty quick & we had a great vacation there. Glad we didn't arrive any sooner!
