The family of one of my friends in Junior High had one of these in 1974. I really liked its futuristic appearance that still looks contemporary today. How this never became immortalized in styrene plastic kit form by AMT or MPC is still a mystery to me . . . . Thanks for sharing this with us! 34th Like.
Boy do I remember the Shasta Campers. All the neighbors had one in the driveway! I would have loved one, but our family had a cabin instead. Needless to say, we didn’t do allot of road trips 😅
@@markst.germain9286 especially not one with front wheel drive. I used to have a 19' O'Day trailer sailor. Kept it on a pier with a ramp. No need to step the mast. Used a Plymouth Voyager to launch and pull out. Once the tide was too low. I asked a guy with a 4X4 if he'd help. He pulled the boat out and parked it for me. Very neighborly in a small NE seaside town of about 6,000.

Thanks so much for the great comment.
I bought one three years ago and no regrets.
So wonderful to see! We had one! Wonderful memories. I drove it, age 18, through South of France.
Was a great vehicle❤
You don't buy a GMC Motorhome, you adopt them. I have a lovely 1973 Canyon Lands
WOW,!!! I’ll take a 26’ model please!!! Spectacular!! Beats those tiny vans people are living in!
Wish I had one! I've had a large motorhome which I thought was too big. I wasn't very comfortable driving it.
a real home on wheels

big following of the GMC MH
How do these things tow? They're FWD so I wonder if launching a boat would be a problem.
I have a Baja 190 and a 77 gmc. I don't feel confident I could launch the boat with the motorhome.

Why didn't GMC convert it into a 12- 15 seater mini Greyhound ?
what happened to yesteryear....things today are so cheap and no class
front wheel drive driven by a chain...WTF
