Michael Keaton and Adam West are my 2 Favourites Batman. I did try to get a 12inch figure of Adam West Batman but I was told its hard to get because everyone is afther one.
Picked up 2 of these today at my TRU to display and keep mint on card, and didn't need to buy the DVDs with the figures. So I'm not sure what the deal is exactly? But this figure is amazing. Just like the last release of the 1989 Keaton batman 👍
It's worth noting that NECA says these are SUPPOSE to be sold WITH the dvds. But every place around me has the figures and dvds separate. The price is listed at $19.99 for the figures and the DVDs. But if you buy the DVD, you get the figure for half off, making it a $10 figure. I think the way Randy made it seem, is that the figure and DVD were suppose to be sold together for a price of $30, but something isn't right.
+optibotimus That's how it was on eBay. Figures couldn't be bought without the DVDs. However, at the actual Toys R Us stores you could buy them separately. Makes me regret getting two of these on eBay. :(
It's strange that the figure can only bend his elbow joint 90 degrees but the back of the packaging shows the figure bending his elbow joint all the way to make the communicator in his hand closer to his face.
Not a surprise because I was checking ToyNewsInternational and I watched someone else's review. I'm tired of the "worn" look. Zero chance of getting a Lewis Wilson and Robert Lowery Batman from the 1943 and 1949 serials.
Those serials are so far out of the demographic of toy collectors I'd think you'd get a Val Kilmer or George Clooney long before that. and who wants those two either?

Wow...this Beats the 'Mattel 1966' version! I'd def buy this once the Robin comes out! I would only hope Neca makes a bigger scale batmobile for this line!
+Aquin If the 66 batman show went on until the early if not mid 1970s it would have been cool to see robin mature more not being dependent on batman. Also seeing robin work with batgirl more would be cool

Chances are if a decision is made to make a new live action batman show today many things are going to change. The charm of the 60s series went its course. The characters never grew but I suppose that had been part of the charm of that show back then.
Don't like it, the mask doesn't cover his nose completely, his eyes look cross eyed and he looks like an old Adam West in his 60's in a batman suite, not the younger Adam West from the tv show, bad face sculpt in my opinion.
The mask-nose thing is accurate. The eyes vary, and they are paint not sculpt. Yeah he does look old actually. I also dont like is the stupid chin. The mask should connect to the chin, without that ugly gap. I understand it's "realistic", but look at reference images and the hot toys figure. Other than that it's arguably an amazing head sculpt.

Hasbro needs to learn a thing or two from NECA for their 6 inch Black Series, which sometimes disappoints.

I love this figure, though mine has the glove on the right arm twisted so the spikes stick out oddly. I wonder if there's a way I can fix that.

neca are great but they really always seem to leave uk the the dust. half there shit doesn't even get released over here
On their Twitter, Randy stated that UK TRU stores don't want adult collectibles, that's why you won't see many or none NECA figures in a UK TRU.
