I have a tremendous appreciation for Paul Chowdhry's absolute unflappability in the face of his own failures. Most others basically accept that if they've just done something utterly, unbelievably ridiculous they will cheerfully laugh at themselves. Paul, though, somehow manages to pull off an absolutely stone-faced bluff that makes you begin to believe that actually he's done everything perfectly sensibly, and that everyone else is absolutely insane, it's silly that there's even questions about it in the first place. If it wasn't for the occasional sly one-liners that throw everyone else off balance, you'd be forgiven for believing he is that oblivious.
That is pretty much his comedy style - the most daft and stupid stuff with an absolute stone-wall, then if someone objects he just barely sidesteps - sometimes with very clever turns of phrases. He is the comedian that it is most difficult to understand how he does it...
"What did you think were the chances of that plane flying with your sock wrapped around it?" "Pretty high, otherwise I wouldn't have tried it" Always gets me
The Doctor Who monster comment near the end always makes me laugh because Greg played a villain in Doctor Who around that time! 😂 He was King Hydroflax in the episode The Husbands of River Song, which is my favorite episode ever. :)
Someone also once said that Greg looks like a man halfway through turning into a bat, and he also looks a bit like the headmaster from the "try the chips" episode, who happens also to turn into a bat. So it's a very apt observation on numerous levels.
One my favourite moments in all of TM is Paul selling his Twister prize to Greg with a deadpan "you like women" 😅 he is juuust the right side of weird for me 🤦🏻♀️😂
They should have a series where the losing competitors face each other. Tell them they are playing for a best of trophy but in fact the trophy goes to the worst of the worst!!!!!
Something is wrong in the interview task. To be a doctor means to hold the title of Doctor, not necessarily related with what you do in life. E.g. Mayim Bialik has a phd in neuroscience and makes a living as an actor. For all we know the Alex lookalike was trained and licensed as an anesthesiologist, and had a career flying a B-29 superfortress.
"I'd look like a Doctor Who monster, it'd be wicked." "You already do." "Welcome to last place." But to be fair, Greg was a Doctor Who baddie at one point. Might as well call him a Doctor Who monster.
I was just listening to this video, not watching, and apparently I've watched enough light British entertainment that I can identify Sara Pascoe by her laugh alone. Boys, we've finally made it.
They dont do this anymore They dont show reactions from the contestants while watching the tasks They should start showing reactions from the contestants while watching the tasks
“mommy says we’re good at puzzles” gets me every time 🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
One of my favourite noises ever made on Taskmaster is the huge cackle after "bastard's crying innit" 16:14
followed by "its not a bear its a rabbit" haha
Sounded like Rob dinnit?
@@getin3949 I thought it was Sarah Millican in the crowd
05:25 Al's childlike happiness caused by successful bribery, is my highlight of this clip

Pretty sure he knew exactly what he was doing all the time ❤️❤️

Snow bear, isn't it?
@@Pagliacci_Rex"Bastards crying innit"
snowbear init, unbelievably hilarious… he was an awesome contestant
"What did you think were the chances of that plane flying with your sock wrapped around it?"

"You need to watch more foreign films."
That got me!
"All the numbers are here."
"That's the nature of phones."

No way!! I had no idea😮
No wayyyy! Gonna need to rewatch that!!
I came just to find this sort of comment

@@ParisianWeetabix Honestly i don't think he does look like him but i kinda get what you mean
Wish we could have the full 42 minutes of Paul trying to guess the guys job
Paul asking if the man was a rentboy and made 16 sexual references 😂😂 i love paul
5:22 Greg's face as he sees that the bribe worked
Al paying alex is one of the best bits of all time
Al knowing the make and model of the fighter plane makes more sense now that i know he co-hosts a WWII podcast.
The "Doctor Who Monster" thing is made even funnier by the fact Greg played a Doctor Who Monster.
what's even funnier about the Doctor Who comment is that Greg by that time had already played a monster/villain on Doctor Who - King Hydroflax
1:06 that laugh though!
One my favourite moments in all of TM is Paul selling his Twister prize to Greg with a deadpan "you like women" 😅 he is juuust the right side of weird for me 🤦🏻♀️😂
The fact Greg was a villain in doctor who means it is technically correct that he already looks like a doctor who monster.
I miss the reactions during the clips
“you need to watch more foreign films” is just layers of genius!
The foreshadowing of 'you look like a Dr. Who villain'....priceless.
17:02 and beyond…I have never laughed so hard at an image of a snowman. 😂
Who'd have guessed having five comedians as contestants who know how to banter would actually make the show funny.
17:35 Al's snowman: "Chill me…!"
I love these people.
Paul has a lovely speaking voice.
If Rob and Sarah are the twins, then Greg and Roisin are clearly the parents. One happy aryan family...
I had forgotten how odd Paul Chowdry could be.
"You did it in the tone of voice of a Batman film"
Wow you're right, these are absolutely SAVAGE!
They should have a series where the losing competitors face each other. Tell them they are playing for a best of trophy but in fact the trophy goes to the worst of the worst!!!!!
Scoopy opened the Ark of the Covenant
Greg "welcome to last place"
Me "worth it!"
😄
I love these shows, but i really need to let my lungs heal.
I do love these compilations despite their totally random and inaccurate titles.

Rob’s “chimp face” and pose look waaay more like the pilgrim-zombie-ghost thingies in Paranorman!
1:06 rob looks like he has dentures in to complete the look
Those first series were magical
I got 115 pounds, that'll warm you up
At 4:27 I can hear Nish Kumar laughing 😂
the money should go to charity! Rob becket channelling my spirit animal "No!"
The pea must land on the red carpet - is it a celebripea?
14:48 really should've been the finale, almost certainly the most immortal moment of this series
The classic "B4stard's cryin innit!" from Paul.
:'-D
The funniest thing is that Alex Horne is the actual boss.
To be fair to Sarah, i also would have pet the dog called Nelly
paul chowdhry might be one of the funniest people alive
Broncos at 4 on the ladder, awesome.
Pauls comments throughout this were amazing!
Greg does playing a doctor who villain
Chirstmas of 2015 and that episode of taskmaster was in 2016
Rob Beckett's laugh might just be the worst sound on earth
nobody in this world says ‘innit’ better than Paul Chowdry
Funny thing is, Greg did play a Doctor Who villan
Best joke last :)
Thank goodness the make up people started filling in robs eyebrows. The man gets so blown out by stage lighting.
Al's snowman reminds me of peppa pig, i don't know why.
Dont remember seeing these episodes with Rob
"Are you wet?" 🤣🤣

❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️
Still think that "What do you think?" Is a bit of an arsehole response
I think it might be a joke mate
Really skrew with them and say he can only lie in Bulgarian
'Bastard's crying, innit'
Independence day. Terrible movie? Ok, rob please knock davies out.
Donald trump doesn't pay for things, he purloins them.
What’s with saying “innit” after ever sentence? It’s completely put me off watching this series
How lucky is Bennett that mentioning big teef all the time and being a loud lad is enough for a career.
Pretty quickly went from humbling Ch4 comics to torturing nobodies
Huh
you make no sense
Sara Pascoe saying the people call her Rob Beckett in a wig, don't be silly, that would mean you'd be funny
urgh sarah
😂😂😂😂😂
17:02 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 IM DYING LOLLLLLLLLL
