Probably could use Akira Toriyama for inspiration like Dragon Ball Z planet Vegeta and Earth for the building designs. He was one of the main artists that worked on it RPG ( the DBZ vibes from the game)

Well uhm..... my offer still stands on my assets I guess lol. This process is very impressive! When I textured my version of Zeal, I just lerped some filtered green on top of the normals that were facing up
this is poggers. but I've imaginated way bigger tbh. I lack the skills to make this on unreal engine or blender, but when I imagine this level on VR or 3D, I imagine it being the size of real continents, just like the way the game states. there are some art references around that you can use if you want to make it look better. I have some saved on my drive.
I think if you made the frozen tundra beneath dotted with one village, one mountain, a couple of trees, and a hint of ocean it would add a lot of depth. I only say this as we couldn't look down in the SNES version. Fantastic work all the same.
Great job! I recently bought Chrono Trigger on steam, and have been replaying it. Personally, I'd love to see the Millennial Fair from the start of the game! it might be a little harder due to the several areas and props, but I know you can do it!
