i fell in love with this band at 18. and even though, i mostly don’t listen to this type of music anymore, definitely one of the best bands from the screamo genre. imo. the lyrics hit very close and i always come back to this album when i’m going through a rough patch.
I legit just found this band fall '23 after over a decade+ of listening to this type of music and it i feel like i was meant to be at this stage of life to find it 😢
@@FlowersByTheDoor so before this band, they were in a band called "new ethic" they had another guitarist in the band with all of the same members as this band, that guitarist got hit by a car, and passed away because of it, that band changed their name to I have dreams, and released this one record, every song on it is about him in some way

the clean vocals have such a unique sound. the guitar makes me feel like im in winter wonderland. the tone is perfect

I think the briefness of the melodic breaks and clean vocals is what gives it its appreciation.
