I generally have no interest in buying what you’re reviewing. However, I like you both and I also like learning about what’s on the thermal market. I just enjoy your content. Keep it up!
I bought this a few weeks ago. I could make out deer 1000 yards away. (no elk or pigs where i am). I could see.a trail in the middle of a field at 1200 yards where everything should be the same temperature. This is my first thermal device so I don't have a lot of experience, but I am pretty impressed. It was pretty warm and there are many boulders where i am. So there are many warm boulders that look almost the same as animals. I'm wondering what temperature it needs to be to clearly see the animals near the boulders?
Thank you for your business, we really appreciate it! The big rocks are heating up from the sun and holding that heat in. The colder the temps are the less of an issue that will be but it’s still going to happen to a degree since those big rocks are taking on radiant heat all day long and holding it for a long time. The colder the night temperatures get it should help cool them off but you’ll likely always see them out there if they are taking on sunshine all day. Thank you again!
I’ve added a neck strap to it at the point where the hand strap is near the eye cup, I don’t remember where I got this neck strap from, I’ve had it a few years, but it works great I can let it hang underneath my jacket or outside my jacket, it saves so much time, I don’t have to stuff it in some sort of pocket, i wish PULSAR would have made it.
