No idea you had a wolsesley hornet, it looks a cool car to say the least! I just love that barn find Cooper S, believe it or not thats only the third Cooper S which has been found in a barn in recent years! Where I live in the UK a mint mk1 Cooper s is for sale for £60k so you've done well to find one! The 'magic wand' gear change looks a nightmare to use haha!
I've had 2 Hornets, and once the floors are fixed in the orange one it'll be back on the track! It's a lot of fun. And you are def correct! With proper engine mounts it's better, but still not good.
Thank you so much! The MR2 is owned by a friend of ours. It's getting a full engine swap and then painted. We'll be posting that project in a few weeks! Should be pretty cool once it's done. It's been a rally car most of it's life, so it's getting a proper retirement.
@@MisfitMuttsGarage Great to hear, my son has an MR2 AW11 one that he got with a Celica engine in it and is looking for someone to put in the wiring harness he got from some AW11 guru from England for it...if you have any info on any MR2 gurus here in Mass I would appreciate the info. Thanks! BTW I know you from your BMW, I have a 76 2002.
@@spykesta Hit up my friend Khal on instagram: ClassicCarLog - he's got an AW11 and he just got it back from his mechanic. I'd assume he's gotta know some good AW11 folks! good luck! if we can help, let me know!

I'm prity shore all the mk1 Cooper s mini had twin fuel tanks
not all, actually. It was an option. This one will have a second tank added, as it came with the car.
Matt who owns the MR2? and these cars are sweet, can't wait to see the builds.
