Happy Friday to those of you who celebrate beveragemixers.com/collections/anders-erickson-holiday-collection?sca_ref=6375283.i1mAKIWjO7&sca_source=Holiday%20Page
It's a supportive community because: A. You make tasty cocktails B. The meanest thing you've ever said on this channel was that you 'wanted to meet the person who made this drink, so I can tell them to go away, or I will taunt them a 2nd time'.
Had a frankly really horrible night tonight. Got let go from my bartending job because the place is closing down. Imagine my elation when I got home and saw Anders’ face giving me something to remind me that no matter where I go, I can share the beauty of cocktails with everyone. Sipping an S.A.D. rn, subbing the pimento for a small pour of Benedictine and several dashes of angostura and it is delicious. Thanks for a tiki drink to save the spirits in these dark days Anders. You’re doing better work than you could ever realize.
I'm not kidding when I say - this is why I follow you. These are the most out of the ordinary holiday cocktails I've seen in a while and I want to try them all. Thanks Anders!
I decided to try your grenadine after Chuck Norris told me it would cure my Erectile Dysfunction. As soon as I clicked the payment confirmation button, my wife was immediately pregnant with triplets. Good work my friend and keep up the sips, tips, and recipes.
What’s SAD is sweet/rich holiday cocktail season is upon us. Maybe you can throw in a “Mele Kalikimaka” episode sometime over the next 5 weeks, give us a taste of the islands and go all Tiki! 🏝️
Last year for Christmas, I made cacao butter fat washed rum and then made Jeffrey Morgenthaller's eggnog with creme de menthe, Cointreau and tia maria with a matching bitters with each.
My Portland Syrups pack, including a bottle of your grenadine arrived yesterday. Let the cocktails begin! Thanks for these new recipes. I am going to try them this weekend. Cheers!
Well, not only did I learn a thing or two today, I also guffawed out loud several times. You’re a cocktail genius and a gosh darn comedian. Well done. Wishing you and yours the happiest of holidays! Thanks for making ours a little merrier and bright with this delicious video.
Love your cocktails, mate! I’m based in Australia and usually enjoy whisky sours or amaretto sours, but lately I’ve been really getting into rum and making way too many Mai Tais and tiki-style cocktails (perfect for the hot weather over here). Keep up the great work with the videos, and if you could put together more rum-based cocktail vids for inspiration, that’d be awesome mate, cheers.
Should I be concerned that I’m getting so much joy from watching a cocktail video at 8a.m. Anders, you make me smile, and I will definitely be trying the S.A.D. Cocktail (it’s DARK here at 4:30!)… also the other two at some point. Thanks again, you Two!
I don’t doubt these are tasty, but around the holidays simple cocktails are my go to. A bartender maybe able to whip these up no problem, but for me not so much. I tend to limit holiday cocktails to three Ingredients or less.
Back with a bang and so happy my Allspice hasn't been sitting in waiting on my counter for nothing! The rest of my shelf was less prepared, granted, but tomorrow...!
Tried all three today, all delicious. But I have to say your "SAD" cocktail is incredible! Possibly the best tike drink I've ever made... and I've gone through about half the recipes in Martin Cate's book! Merry Christmas, Don't be SAD, Have a cocktail! :-)
Hot Gin for the win, I made a gin drink called the Hot Blueberry Pie, it was gin, lemon juice, roasted blueberry syrup, steaming hot water and a crushed graham cracker rim
Just made the S.A.D. It's fantastic. Thank you! For 80 years, tiki has been playing with the same basic ingredients and flavors. And this does that, too, but somehow it's still a combination I haven't tasted before. That grenadine is fighting the good fight here. A worthy contribution to the rum pantheon.
So Anders, I just ordered 5 days ago the three pack of the three syrups you featured today. It was right after your last show was posted. When did you start subliminal advertising in your shows? You are a genius! Seriously I am a huge fan and I cannot wait to try these cocktails!
You make good videos and the thing you are selling literally makes it easier to follow one of your cocktail recipes. You're good. And lets be clear I am literally boycotting a whiskey manufacturer right now so when I say you're good then you're good.
Not a cocktail episode idea, but I'd love a video of you showing us your favourite bottles for either all around mixing or if you're going to drink a spirit neat what you'd reach to first as I've been drinking whiskey neat a bit more recently and a little more rum neat as well and thought it would be cool to hear what bottles you like as I try to decipher your back bar
I don't have a few of the ingredients for these drinks on-hand but last week I made a Last Ward with your recipe using a chartreuse clone and it was really really good.
Anders oh my goodness....the S.A.D. Cocktail is so amazing! Sutle and blanced yet complex! Tastes absolutely delicious! Wow! Great Job!!! Absolutely LOVE THEM!
I love all the great videos, keep it up! Quick question: I ran out of sweet vermouth but have some Lillet Rouge. Can I use it as a substitute? I would love to see a video all about fortified wines, the differences between them, and how to use them!
I am excited to get the 3 different syrups. Cant wait to make some holiday cocktails with the syrups. Hope the demand is there so you can continue. Love watching your videos.
Thank you for clarifying the “nutty finish”. Got worried there for a sec. 😂 Love that you created three originals! S.A.D and Apeman will definitely be made. They look awesome. Not a tea fan so passing on the 2nd one. Truly appreciate your channel. Keep up the great work and have an amazing Thanksgiving holiday.
Anders , I said you were my favorite cocktail maker, and a few people said that you were “cringe”. Just know I backed you up haha. I have your grenadine, coasters, bar mat and glasses. Huge supporter of yours.
I just tried the Shoddy Toddy. Super bomb! Delicious! Thank you 🙏 needed this right now. Also accidentally did 1/2 an ounce of lime juice but it still tastes great ❤
I make a version of this every year with it poured over a frozen pine cone that best fits your favorite rock’s glass…….I’ve never done that…….sounded cool tho
Seasonal Affective Disorder is a great name! Brings back memories of Milwaukee, 40 years ago. Four-thirty on a winter afternoon, and it's already evening. The Dream Academy song, "Life in a Northern Town" could have been written about Wisconsin. Cudos, too, for the Apeman! You're too young for that song. I'm not, and I'm impressed!
Good video! I don't think you've covered the Aquavit before? It's very popular in Norway and especially the Line Aquavit has a great backstory. Could be an idea to make a Fjellbekk or something similar in a video now that christmas is coming up :)
For colds I stumbled onto a herbal brew by accident trying to treat the symptoms: half a walnut pinch of spruce tips, marshmallow root & sage leaves, steep in 250ml hot water 15mins, strain out and mix in about as much raw honey you can fit onto a tablespoon and 15ml of lemon juice. This compresses the cold time and burns it off, all while giving you a 4h boost of energy. Day of you'll need a rest after that.
I know without even tasting that the SAD cocktail will be incredible. I plan to have several until the in-laws leave on thanksgiving, or until the Packers kick off.
Happy Friday to those of you who celebrate

I think tiki cocktails are even more important in winter because sometimes you just need some form of escape to somewhere tropical lol
I made one last night and it surprised me how good it was.
Had a frankly really horrible night tonight. Got let go from my bartending job because the place is closing down. Imagine my elation when I got home and saw Anders’ face giving me something to remind me that no matter where I go, I can share the beauty of cocktails with everyone.

Thank you for the kind words. I'm sorry to hear about your current situation. Wishing you the best on your ventures to come
Thank you for the kind words and pleasant distraction. Not letting bad luck keep me down!
I love when you can hear Az cracking up.
I'm not kidding when I say - this is why I follow you. These are the most out of the ordinary holiday cocktails I've seen in a while and I want to try them all. Thanks Anders!

Nice.

I'd been looking at this cocktail too. I'd LOVE an episode on it!
Could do a N/A version and call it the Mele Kalikimocktail
Anyone else just hit like immediately after he says "Welcome back friends, it's Anders"?
Every time.
Yep!
As much as I enjoy your videos, there is one addition that always makes them better…that’s when Az makes an appearance. 🎉
Last year for Christmas, I made cacao butter fat washed rum and then made Jeffrey Morgenthaller's eggnog with creme de menthe, Cointreau and tia maria with a matching bitters with each.
I am proud to be presented to along with other good cocktail people. Thanks Anders!
Cheers!
My Portland Syrups pack, including a bottle of your grenadine arrived yesterday. Let the cocktails begin! Thanks for these new recipes. I am going to try them this weekend. Cheers!
Hope you enjoy them all and thanks for the support!
I have a bottle and it is freaking great! Buy it people! Support small business!
Well, not only did I learn a thing or two today, I also guffawed out loud several times. You’re a cocktail genius and a gosh darn comedian. Well done. Wishing you and yours the happiest of holidays! Thanks for making ours a little merrier and bright with this delicious video.
Having a SAD now. Fantastic. Cheers!
“This is…the hustle” And why not, it’s a worthy endeavour 😂
Say what? As I sit here in my new “to the bar” tshirt, looking at my new bar mat. (Thanks my wife for the birthday gifts)
An Anders original named after a great tune by my favorite band??? You’ve outdone yourself sir.
8:18 somewhere, Townsends peeked out behind a bush and said "nutmeg?"
You are my people
I bought 2 bottles of grenadine and gifted one. Absolutely the best grenadine I have ever tasted.
I'm a King Kong man, I'm a voodoo man, oh I'm an apeman
God bless The Kinks!
I'll be your Tarzan, you'll be my Jane, I'll keep you warm and you'll keep me sane

TO THE BAR! ➡️🥃
The S.A.D. and the Apeman crush it! Great cocktails!
We need an Anders cocktail book!
I don’t doubt these are tasty, but around the holidays simple cocktails are my go to. A bartender maybe able to whip these up no problem, but for me not so much. I tend to limit holiday cocktails to three Ingredients or less.
Beautiful cocktails, as always! Much❤from the PS team
6:47 favorite kinks song!
Happy Thanksgiving, Anders! I made the S.A.D. yesterday for me and our (newish-21 year old) son. We both loved it! So complex and interesting. Cheers!
Back with a bang and so happy my Allspice hasn't been sitting in waiting on my counter for nothing! The rest of my shelf was less prepared, granted, but tomorrow...!
Cheers
Shoddy toddy is a great name and sounds yummy!
Tried all three today, all delicious. But I have to say your "SAD" cocktail is incredible! Possibly the best tike drink I've ever made... and I've gone through about half the recipes in Martin Cate's book! Merry Christmas, Don't be SAD, Have a cocktail! :-)

Just ordered an Anders’ Holiday Must-Haves three pack. Excited to try them!
Love the sound of all three but that toddy has me most intrigued...
The Shoddy Toddy... thank you Anders, you just summed up my husband 😂 He literally cheered when you said ginger syrup.
Love the last one! Excited to give it a go 🍌
The seasonal affective disorder cocktail has cured us, a tasty solution to dreary winter days! Thank you.
So Anders, I just ordered 5 days ago the three pack of the three syrups you featured today. It was right after your last show was posted. When did you start subliminal advertising in your shows? You are a genius! Seriously I am a huge fan and I cannot wait to try these cocktails!
I made a pretty basic toddy with Genever once and it was delightful
Portland Syrup's ginger syrup is awesome--really good balance of sweet and spicy. Looking forward to trying the Shoddy Toddy with it! :D
I drink green tea every day and gin nearly every day. The shoddy toddy sounds right up my alley!
I ordered the grenadine....I am impatiently waiting for it to arrive!
You make good videos and the thing you are selling literally makes it easier to follow one of your cocktail recipes. You're good. And lets be clear I am literally boycotting a whiskey manufacturer right now so when I say you're good then you're good.
I'm still a sucker for the Noble Beast around this time of year. Such an artful creation. 😗👌🏻
Can’t wait to try the first one! Anytime I can get the Absinthe down and also use one of my favorites, the Allspice Dram, I’m in!
I just made the S.A.D. cocktail and oh my god I love it I love it I love it!
Hoping you both have an amazing Christmas!
Wishing you the same! Cheers
Shoddy toddy aounds good. I love incorporating ginger syrup into citrus drinks, and am surprised I never added it to a toddy yet
You are good cocktail people, Anders. Cheers.
I don't have a few of the ingredients for these drinks on-hand but last week I made a Last Ward with your recipe using a chartreuse clone and it was really really good.
Another great video....I love the originals! Also - I can't wait to try the grenadine! Just made my purchase of the 3 pack.
Sipping the SAD cocktail. Soooo yummy 😋 thanks for this recipe 😊
Anders oh my goodness....the S.A.D. Cocktail is so amazing! Sutle and blanced yet complex! Tastes absolutely delicious! Wow! Great Job!!! Absolutely LOVE THEM!
I appreciate this channel. That Apeman looks great, can’t wait to try it.

Bravo! The Kinks are my favorite band!!!
Just ordered the Holiday Must Haves. When they arrive, to the bar!
Cheers! Hope you enjoy them all!
I loved this video. Stunning Cocktails
I love all the great videos, keep it up!
Quick question: I ran out of sweet vermouth but have some Lillet Rouge. Can I use it as a substitute? I would love to see a video all about fortified wines, the differences between them, and how to use them!

I’m digging the Apeman but nice work all around.
Gave the SAD a try, and I'm a fan!
You're on FIRE! Thank you,
Purchased the 3 pack with yours and theirs. Super pumped to try them
Thank you! Here's to the tasty cocktails in your future
Cheers and happy Thanksgiving
Oooo that brown sugar syrup sounds fun- would probably make my summer batches of boba a bit easier 😂
I always love a nutty finish…
Anders , I said you were my favorite cocktail maker, and a few people said that you were “cringe”. Just know I backed you up haha. I have your grenadine, coasters, bar mat and glasses. Huge supporter of yours.
Just ordered your three pack of grenadine. To The Bar. Cheers 🥂
Love the content, so thank you! I just ordered both syrup packages and can’t wait to try the grenadine.
Thanks for giving them a try! Cheers
Ordered for ourselves and our friends! Thanks, Anders! 🥃
Cheers! Thanks for the support!
Holidays are the peak of summer in half of the globe, so tiki drinks make a lot of sense.
Love a nutty finish
Been thinking about this channel and then bam new vid. Thanks!
Good thought I hope
OMG, those sound soooo good! THANKS!
It must be Friday! Love these! Thanks for your work guys ❤️
The S.A.D. looks interesting for fans of a Lion's Tail
Anders, have you ever discussed alternatives to egg whites for cocktails? Does aquafaba (water that was used to cook chickpeas) work?
I just tried the Shoddy Toddy. Super bomb! Delicious! Thank you 🙏 needed this right now. Also accidentally did 1/2 an ounce of lime juice but it still tastes great ❤
Cheers! Happy you liked it
I make a version of this every year with it poured over a frozen pine cone that best fits your favorite rock’s glass…….I’ve never done that…….sounded cool tho
I use your grenadine from Portland Syrups, it's very good!
Cheers! Happy you're enjoying it
All I want for Christmas is a UK distributor for your merch and syrups!
Happy Holidapes to you both!
These all look so good!

I know without even tasting that the SAD cocktail will be incredible. I plan to have several until the in-laws leave on thanksgiving, or until the Packers kick off.
I had a good cackle at this one. Keep adding the humour to the videos and i'll buy ya syrups and be the 'demand' lol.
Cool video!
How do you feel about Fee Foam vs egg whites or aquafaba?
Any recs on what to use instead of absinthe for people who don’t like absinthe (or anything fennel or anise adjacent)?
An herbal liqueur might be good in there. Know Chartreuse is hard to come by, but I'd be curious to try it here as a rinse
Can you do a video on the green Isaac’s special or the caribeno cocktails?
