- Today we are checking DS emulation via drastic on the Miyoo Mini Pus Running custom Onion OS. It has been released recently, I ve tried it out and I gotta tell you it is definitely worth installing so let's get into it :-)

just for anyone's information, most of the games run better in the dual screen low resolution mode, a lot of the issues he talks about are solved by turning off high resolution 3D mode.
Is 3D mode the one where you get the whole screen I'm trying to just see what it's like without having the little small screen on the right and the bigger screen on the left can't really figure out how to do it
no, 3d mode is just like the houses look better etc. but the original DS did not use high reslution 3d either@@blajeunesse4
hi great video, I have two questions, is it possible to play pokemon black and white? Also, where can I find the list of games you had? I would be interested. PS, do the games (besides those for the Nintendo DS) have to be found in a .zip archive to work?

have you tried pokemon diamond or pokemon black on this? how well do they work
It's amazing that they pulled it off. However if games like Kirby and NSMB don't even run properly it's a bit of a shame.

What video configuration are you running? For the full screen? Haven’t had time to play with the settings yet
Just cycle through the mods with L2 i believe

Awesome to see this possible tbh , but maybe only a handful of games would run flawless , i see alot of fps skipping in all the games.
This machine isn't really powerful to run ds emu at fullspeed

Drastic is awesome! i'm playing pokemon soul silver, but i have a problem, i want to start a new game and it won't let me, do you know how to reset the rom? 😢 I have onion installed , thx!!
maybe you need to activate it by touch?
For some reasons after I drop the files after booting it doesnt show drastic and when I check the sd card both the drastic and NDS folder get deleted, they just arent there anymore.
Are you putting the drastic folder into the “EMU” folder? And then going into “Roms” folder and creating a new folder labeled “NDS”?
I think he doesn't do that
hi, i cant get it to work. when i copy the drasic folder it keeps saying a bunch of file names are incorrect or too long? i can only skip those, not raname and it doesnt work without them obviously.. any advice?

Quick question how did you get the full screen video like that I can't seem to figure it out
Try L2 or R2
Hold Select and press A button
L2 then becomes your stylus
R2 then becomes a switch between screen setting
I bought it just because crash bandicoot and here I could play all their ps1, gba and nds games
In gta settings you can enable GPS, HP and other things on top screen
So I can’t figure out how to safe the game on the emulator in stead of in game safe. Who can help me?

Most games can play well but off course if the games that need touch screen as part of the gameplay will not be playable.

The framerate looks like trash tho. Just get a retroid pocket 3+ or something for this kind of stuff.
It's a 50usd machine... you can have fun with low fps too. it's just one more possibility that is offered. Even if 10% of DS games were playable, you have 200 more video games available. I think that's amazing.
if I should choose between this or nothing I am choosing this all day long
@sonofahandheld But that isn't the choice though. It's this or 1000 other cheap handhelds. Or pc's. Or a used ds and a flashcart. This is terrible for nds emulation. Terrible.
