      Apollo the Wolf God is such a great read! It's a little more difficult to get one's hands on, though. It's on US Amazon for $40 plus shipping and that's the least expensive listing that I can find currently. (I got my copy for slightly less). 128 pages of otherwise very hard-to-find academic material makes it a good deal, though.

    I’m italian and honestly this is the first time that I hear about this interpretation about the birth of Rome. What we are told usually is that the she-wolf was “simply” moved by Mars, the God of War, since the wolf is an animal linked to this God. So almost the opposite, like it was not so humble since a God actively acted for it.
    I know that we are just giving interpretazione of the past, but what do you think about this different perspective?

    I haven't read the book but I think maybe I know were the autor got the " Gaia" thing idea... he must be a "Werewolf the Apocalypses" player, is a Role playing game, the kind like dungeons and dragons but about werewolves, and Gaia is their main deity.

This is off topic from your video...However, a while back I questioned your ability to complete the 24 Elder Futhark runes, because most people on TH-cam do not complete the whole set...Since I've gotten to know you a little bit more, it is to no surprise...Your understanding of the runes is the most comprehensive and resonates deeply with my own truth, so thank you very much!

    I am a worshipper of the wolf gods and goddesses and he left a few things out that l found on research of my own -it is an enjoyable read-it is interesting to see that a salve would help these werewolves shapeshift much like flying ointment -in the process of finishing it-thanks for the review

    • @Roma-rusk
      @Roma-rusk 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      More likely that a salve would give some alternation in the mind when combined with other ingredients that are ingested more than the body. Most of these "transformations" are people who are putting on wolf skin or bear skin and going into a trance or taking hallucinogens.

    • @ofwolfandmanbook1517
      @ofwolfandmanbook1517 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The salve was only one of three supposed methods of werewolf transformation recorded by investigators in Middle Ages France. The others were:-
      - a bite from another werewolf/wolf
      - a person was so “evil” they would spontaneously become a werewolf.
      The last concept is interesting because the people at the time were using the idea of a werewolf to describe what we’d think of now as a serial killer or psychopath.
      Obviously completely different from the older pre Christian ideas of Wolf Cult, but the word was recycled, adding another layer of complexity to the myths and legends.

    The final note of wisdom of trying and failing and its intrinsic value is well worth the purchase of the book but moreso an already ongoing subscription to the fine channel, hopping onto the channel for review and discussion, and finding further tomes for research and pondering. My first impression on browsing some of the author's several books is the doing sparked by imagination. And prompting crtical thinking and questioning from the prospective reader! In that sense, its being written and published is a boon! I had wondered, what in the world, but like many fascinating topics, it invites curiosity. Only until one actually embodies or starts on a path of diligent practice, then grounded actuality is critical for success in endeavors. Maybe it's the difference between a free wheeling exchange of ideas and of rigorous research. I dunno. Waxing on here with curiosity and wonder. I'm glad this book is around somehow AND for your kind and discerning review! Or I wouldn't have paused to think further.

I miss a bit your "tack för idag" at the end of the videos, I hope sometimes you'll be caught off guard and say that (or was someone commenting that you can't speak Swedish since you're not from Sweden?). SING INWARDS, sing as hard as you can.
    I use the TIBETAN THROAT SINGERS method and gained world class ability in 2006-07 while in recovery from 17 years of AMNESIA.
    I sang so hard for 9-10 months from Dec 06 to Oct 07.
    You have to think of your lungs as the inside of an acoustic guitar and intentionally sling your words inwards as you start each phrase.
    You feed yourself air this way and rarely have to take a breath as you feed your lungs the air you need with each word you sing inwards like you are throwing a tennis ball as hard as you can with your hand and then catching it / reveberating it outwards.
    After 2 hours straight of singing you gain about 200% range suddenly.
    I was singing about 8 hours a day at least at that time.
    Had I had community around to help and to cherish my recovery and to go after the criminal predator who had severely disabled me back then, and if my poetry, music and vocals been utilized in a commercial manner back then, I would've shined as bright as Layne Staley, Eddie Vedder, these noteworthy expressionists who like me, got betrayed by the conditions of life as kids/youth.
    17 years amnesia.
    I am.

    Arith, stop wasting your time on reviewing these rubbish. There are plenty of other books that has more substance & worth. Might I suggest 'Wolfs-Head' by Shani Oates? I believe no one has made a review of this book yet. (bit expensive though) It'll be interesting to see your take on this.

    Virgo would be the "She-Wolf", Isis in ancient times seen riding the back of a wolf and like Isis has many names Virgo does too. The Arabs saw a lion and a kennel of dogs barking at the lion in the stars of Virgo, and the ancient names have endured
    Auva meaning barking dog
    Zaniah a kennel star
    Rijl Al Awwa foot of the barker
    The star Porrima named after an ancient goddess of prophesy, would be the breast that flow wisdom, the stars that form the head are faint but has many eyes in the form galaxies that look like eye but the face be missing but the hair & Tiara are found in Coma Berenices (Venus/war) but that be another story back to the twins which is are calendar year cut in half found in the story of Persephone and Zeus's decreed that Persephone should leave the underworld and be with her mother for half the year, from March until August, on leap year March 1st is February 29th and placing the 365 days of the year in a circle, drawing a line 180 degrees across you land on August 31st and around this time Virgo begins to rise with the Sun giving meaning to her riding the wolf Like Sirius the "Dog Star" rises with the Sun for 40 days they call "Canicula" 'puppy dog' ending about the time the Sun rising in the belly of Virgo, go back 9 months and you find the Sun in a cave shaped constellation Ophiuchus and at noon Christmas day on the back of the shape-shifting bear Ursa Major, who be a whelp it be a bear cub a lion cub the trickster fox cub the puppy dog be a whelp like the wolf cub and also the child of man be called a whelp
    Now a little of my magick which play backwards says wisdom and you can do this with numbers and we'll use Feb. 29th(March 1st) and Aug. 31st, first 29, record the words "God Is New" and play back in reverse you hear "29" do the same with "Now Lead Earth" it will say "31" add it to "Now Lead Earth, Way, See God" in reverse it says "August Leo 31" and across from Leo is Aquarius riding a fish with a wolfish red eye called Fomalhaut but in ancient times seen as Wepwawet a wolfheaded god a protector of the belly NOW RECORD THIS "Thou Am Wolf" played backwards "Fomalhaut" March, Pieces the fish are "Strong(march) She Saw(Pieces)" and guess what February says "You Will Be Fed" the wolf will feed but on who? Aquarius has a echo too it is "Say you will talk" meaning he be a BARKER, if you like I'll show you the wolf eating the sun surely you know that myth and is not Loki father of a foot biting wolf and you find the wolf hiding in each eye "I wolf I Too Will Come" played backwards "Macula Lutea Fovea" a little golden egg in a nest a dimple "Eyes See All" played backwards "Eyes See All"
