I watched your video a few months ago, an may I add you have an make some really nice knives, some of those you made remind me of what the Indians would of carried. Great video!
Cool knife collection man! I’m a fan of the handmade knifes you did especially the Eagle head one since the Eagle is my totem animal 😎🤙 I’ll be checking out your videos more to learn how to make knife handles
It's gratifying to see one whom like the joy and value of older traditional blades, like I do. And new one's too, like Masters Williams Collins' "bold" but yet so useful blade disign. Great collection
Learned the hard way growing up, exactly like you said, to never give out knives. If someone asks me for a knife, I know what to get them for Christmas. No one uses my knives but me lol
Really GREAT knife collection Drew!! I had one of those 153 Schrade Uncle Henry knives back in the late 1970’s. It was called a “golden spike” if I remember correctly. I read somewhere that it was patterned after one of Randall’s hunting knives. What a GREAT hunting knife! Don’t know what the hell I did with it. Lol! Might have given it away. Also had one of those Schrade pocket knives that looked like a Buck 112. LB7? Damn rugged knife! I liked the Schrade products much better. Really nice combination of both fixed blade, pocket knives, and neck knives you have Drew! Your WC collection is GREAT! Would like to see you do a video on the 51UH pocket knife if you get a chance. You make a hell of a knife & sheath Drew! Great video Drew. Take care. 👍🏻💪🏻🇺🇸☘️
Assisted knives were big when people were cautious about buying autos...if they could find a retailer that didn’t act like the ATF.....once you buy a true switchblade, assisted knives lose their appeal....and Kershaw just put a assist spring in 3/4 of their knives back then it seemed....CRKT was somewhat guilty of it as well....but Kershaw and ZT quality from the early/mid 2000s is just amazing and the out of production pieces are pricey on the secondary market
Been awhile since I’ve had the patience to watch an entire video from someone. Hell of a nice collection ya got there ! I appreciate ya sharing with us !
@@MountaincraftOutdoors well worth it the knives you show are some I’ve never seen and really admire, and the commentary on use and quality helped as well. You run a good channel sir ! Thank ya kindly.

Of the entire collection, I prefer the Schrade USA 510T - from minute 35:20 of the video - for use in the kitchen in camp, and my Original Puma Bowie 6376 for forest and hunting tasks. Those two run the gamut of needs. Very nice collection, congratulations.
@@MountaincraftOutdoors I fell in love with the bushcraft with a light brown leather sheath at minute 20:50 of the video, it's like that desirable woman you see in a movie and then goes straight to your dreams haha Greetings and thanks for the video!

Mountaincraft Outdoors, This is the first video of yours that I have ever watched. Great knife collection. Thanks for sharing. I have one question and one request though. If you had to choose one knife, which one would it be (in the following three categories: fixed blade and folding knives, fixed blade knives, and folding knives)? Could you make a video on your dog, please? Thank you very much in advance for answering my questions.
Thank you John. I'm in the process of doing a video on Bonzo. Good question on "which knife" I'll work on a video for that as well. Appreciate you watching.
@@MountaincraftOutdoors, Thank you very much for the quick reply! I am looking forward to watching your videos. By the way, I do not know anything about Bonzo (not even which breed he is), but judging from how confident and quiet he is and how he moves: very good choice!
Nice collection! I like the ones you handled yourself. Very cool, and good craftsmanship! On my regular AD 20.5 I threw some micarta scales on it. Big Improvement on the knife imho. I should probably sell it though because I upgraded by buying the titanium scales with 3V blade from Knifecenter which I I like way better, so I never carry the AUS10 version anymore.
