My dream is to be a doctor or a veterinarian, but i don't know if i could handle medical school-it's been eye opening but also encouraging to see what it's like on a deeper level through these videos. Super relatable. Can't even recall how many times we have to study with no sleep and a throbbing headache as med students. The mental breakdowns, the constant fear of failure, the feeling of not being good enough and all the dark sides of this profession sometimes do make us question "Is it worth it in the end?" I hope it is :)

Believe it or not I actually enjoy these grind vlogs more than the regular ones. I am working full time and studying computer science full time so seeing that I am not alone on this grind is refreshing!
I feel the same way! Seeing someone else have no life because of school helps lol. I also work full-time while being a full-time student and all I ever do in my "free time" is schoolwork. Hang in there, we won't be in school forever!

The progression of trying to explain how you’re feeling to just devolving into tears is something I think so many women can relate to right now. I was so moved by this vlog. All the work you are doing to become a doctor is so inspiring. When Roe v Wade went down I thought of you and wondered how this will change your ability to care for your patients. As a married gay women I feel my same sex marriage is at risk too. I am sad for all women today. I look forward to hearing your thoughts after you pass your boards. As someone who feels this immensely and has researched what I can do to apply myself more and do better in school, I was wondering if you could do a little segment on this? I have had no luck with videos or books, so if you have anything to recommend I would so totally appreciate it!! I feel super hopeless as I study for my MCAT after realizing I am not retaining what I am reading.
Go Rachel! You can do this! Not too long ago, I was watching your videos while studying for my board exam. Your videos on Anki and daily habits really helped me stay focused. I passed! Go Rachel! I also foam roll my back daily, to keep it healthy and to prevent neck/shoulder pain. I used two tennis balls in a sock method to foam roll. I use it on the back of my neck too, helps me reduce tension, especially for temporal headaches.

I am study hard for one of my premed courses that I do not have enough time for that so tomorrow is the test, and today I have been very scared and not just my normal so as usual I watched one of your videos dueirng my study break, which was this one and helped me a lot to remember all people who hard work will get the pay off and this journey needs a lot of patients and strength and endurance so THANK YOU SO MUCH SWEET RACHEL for making this video!!!

Good luck studying. How did you prepare for physical skills OSCE especially cardiovascular exams? Our school asks us to do a cardiac exam for right heart failure or aortic stenosis which is harder? Not a general CV exam. Thanks
Hi Rachel! Just a small request: Can you please give us the names of some of the medical books you use to study for exams or are just really good in your opinion? I love medicine and everything about it, but I'm struggling to find such books and have no clue where to start looking.
