So biutifol! I've been wanting to do something like this in my master bedroom as well so I have a question. What was the purpose of the brown boards? Can that be skipped?
Thank you! The brown board is part of a traditional board-and-batten application. It also covers the textured drywall. I don't think textured walls with molding look the best, so we cover them up with the brown board. But if that doesn't bother you, you could absolutely skip that.
