Thanks for this video. For so long I was not able to choose a background for my mac when I was on zoom. Now with this app, I am able to create a screen that works with zoom. Hey bro, thank you so much, I appreciate you, because I really needed this, because we have a graduation, moving up ceremony coming in this June 10, 2021 in our zoom and our teacher told us to put a background for a graduation, moving up ceremony picture that he had sent to us, when I put it in my zoom, the background is clear, but my profile is not being seen, but when I saw your video and used your technique by downloading the snap camera, then opening the zoom with it, then searching background in snap camera, then selecting for a background that you want to use, then selecting image with it for the picture that our teacher had sent to us, when I did that and then connect it to the zoom, now I not only see my background, but I both see my picture and background, thank you so much bro and because of that I will give you a like.

Thanks! I understand that we can no longer see the lenses, but if you had it starred before Jan 25th, you can still use them, just you can't see the lens. Do you know which is the keyboard shortcut for the choose background lens? I'm gonna try to find it.

Hi! tried downloading the snap camera, but it doesn't shown as a camera option for zoom. How do you do it?
It should be automatic there. Let restart your PC and update Zoom to the latest version

HI. Thank you this helped me setting up my Zoom background. However, I encountered another problem- I closed Zoom and Snap Camera and logged back on. Zoom is showing now the logo of Snap Camera and not my face and background. That is either I chose Snap Camera or Integrated Camera. What should I do? Thank you in advance.
Try updating Zoom to the latest version and restart your PC

That’s strange. Just make sure the image files are with extension. (Ex: .jpeg)

Hi. I used your Snap Camera trick and it works for mr in Zoom. I have an old HP p7 1414 which has a AMD 4 core processor.
I still had to use this workaround of yours but I have one issue. My video is lagging the audio by a few milliseconds. Is there something I am missing? Or is there a way to sync my video and audio? Your video is great. I do not use Zoom so it was all new to me when I signed up for a program that has the meetings virtual. It's all new to me. I use to work in video editing for years. First linear and later on a Mac with FCP etc. I'm retired since 2014 and now 72 and do not really know much of the newer technology. Can you help me with the sync thing? Think what's happening is the camera audio is not going through a delay. The video process through snap cam and then Zoom must be lagging but I don't know how to fix. Thanks for your great video!
I suspect it’s because of the RAM capacity you’re using on your PC. It would be helpful if you upgrade your ram

Try updating the zoom and if still not working, uninstall and reinstall the snap

How do you save the background from the snapcam so you can upload it to the zoom. It saves as a code and then when you upload it you see small thumbnail of pic with the snap hat code pic as huge border. Dod they change it?

Current zoom system requirements are nearly absurd. They don't have support for ryzen 3 (4 cores 8 threads) but i3 (2 cores 4 threads), wot? ryzen 4000 and 5000 series in even a ryzen 3 are better than an I3 or similar to intel i5 with intel UHD graphics and it is not supported? Need just the name of ryzen 5 or ryzen 7, absurd core counts that are way better than intel to work and to have the virtual background? It's the dumbest intel fan developers I've ever seen.

Hey! This is a great video but unfortunately after installing and changing the background on snapcam, when I go to zoom and click the up arrow, there isn't an option to switch from Facetime HD to snapcam!! I don't know why its not showing up as an option. Hopefully you can reply or i can figure it out within an hour before my class!

Hello! I have set up the app, however i have no option on zoom to select the snapcam option for my camera choice. How do I resolve this?

If you have Version: 5.7.7 (1105), as of September 15th '21, and there's an option now to match a color to your green screen. It only shows when you click "I have a green screen" though. That fixed my problem.
