I'm using the USB adapter out of pound land in the UK just found out you plug the adapter in the 1st port from your video nice one thanks! Had done the adapter in the 2nd controller port with the USB with bleemsync and retroarch installed and my PlayStation mini don't like it it boots to the standard version then trys to boot bleemsync
I've heard some people complain about when you're playing with two players at once that if one person inputs the same input as the other that then the input will be overridden for one of the players. Can you confirm if this is true or not? I see here that you're only testing out One controller at a time, which is fine and all, but if we have two people playing an actual serious round of Mortal Kombat at once is that going to be an issue if both players hit the same direction
Dream Travel I just bought all this stuff already I couldn’t wait. Up to two players is still fine with me and as the emulator goes it’s all playing perfectly fine for me no issues at all other than I can’t play up to 4 players with my friends
do you have the list of all the stuffs that I have to buy, obviously PlayStation Classic mini itself, the usb multiple connector, pendrive. Do i need anything else?
......I bought another usb hub, one that's powered, because I didn't know you could use the first port for both controllers. Thought it HAD to be in the 2nd port, with the USB and 2nd controller. I was having power issues, (like it turning the system off), usb errors....I just tested the first port, I'll let you guess how that went. Thank you for this video, very much appreciated.
@@8-Bit_Flashback Wanted to throw out a quick update, been using that powered hub for a couple of days now, and no issues running the USB stick from the hub when it is powered, as of yet. I'll be honest, I don't play with it powered 24/7 and the stick in it, I usually just reserve the second port for the thumb drive and hub in first port for 2 player. The few hours I have tested though randomly, with powered hub and usb stick in player 2 port, have been successful and no power issues or sudden restarts like previous hubs with no power option.
Just curious, did you try these out with any arcade games? Like will more than two controllers work to play four player arcade games like The Simpsons or TMNT?
Please make a video on wireless controllers with bleemsync 1.0 which controllers work. 🙏 No one has made a video on compatibility with 1.0 bleemsync and multiplayer. (Wireless).
To tell you the truth, I've had the old ps1 phat and most of that time I played with the dual shock 1. The ps classic pads feel really nice to play on even though they are downsized from the originals, they feel good with retroarch specially if your playing SNES titles.
Do you know if this Insignia Power Hub will work with the flashdrive plugged straight in? I've a SanDisk 128GB Cruzer Blade that I was playing around with last night but it won't read the data on the flashdrive. I had a read up and a powered hub is needed for it to gain enough power as the Classic has a power limitation. Just not sure if it's certain power hubs that are compatible, or if it's certain brands. The 64GB version works perfectly fine.
USB must be plugged into the hub or it wont read the drive a all unless the stick is 32gb or smaller. Some larger sticks work but its hit or miss. The hub will always work even hardrives.
pax TM had the same problem! You’re starting from square one.... format the flash drive, then drag & drop your files. It might give you hell, so you might have to let it make a new backup
@@solonaravanroth1433 none of this is even close to the easy and elegant way you can add games to the Nintendo minis. Even with usb-otg it goes in the back and doesn't occupy a controller port.
I have two actual Sony branded PS1 Dualshock controllers and there are many Dualshock to USB adapters. Which ones would you recommend for the PS Classic?
great. knowing that this works i'm wondering why no one yet added this internally. its all just usb so it shouldnt be a big problem. you could have your usb stick inside the psc and have the hub reach to the 2 controller usb ports on the front. it would look stock from outside, the little usb stick hanging on the front was the biggest annoyance for me so far which kept me from attempting to mod my system.
I'm looking into it. I think the main issue with this is that there isnt a 3rd usb port inside so you have to disconnect the legs of the usb port, bend them so theyre straight and then cut and solder the usb hub wires onto the board, on the other end, pop in the usb or throw it on a tiny extender (or recable it from standalone ports), use the cut usb end cable and attach the cut end onto those legs on the port.
i have one question, (if anyone have my same situtation). i tried an hub but when i open the ps mini with the hub the ps mini doesnt recognize the controller. if i play a little while the game is open and then i put the hub it recognizes both the 1 and 2 player. (only with the games on usb), not with the games of the ps. is normal?
Can anybody help me out please? I bought the INSIGNIA hub and it won't recognize my controller! What can I do to fix this issue? Any help is much appreciated : )

Do NOT use the Onn one in the same port as your flashdrive! It messed up my BleemSync flashdrive where I had to format & copy all the files again! After putting the hub on slot 1 & plugging both controllers (w/ slot 2 being only dedicated to the BleemSync flashdrive) it now works with no problems! The best solution is to buy a 90 degree OTG to plug into the back of the system (which I now do). Not only does look more neat & free up the other slot, but it also shuts down BleemSync/Project Eris in three seconds instead of 1-3 minutes

Call it a first world problem but I hate how in order to play with more games you need to take up a USB port and in order to play with more controllers while using a USB port to add a memory card to play games you need to use a USB hub it’s just so many wires and things happening at the same time it makes the system look ugly I wish everything was internal for example it had Bluetooth installed and or you can install the memory card on the inside
