Thanks Matt. I always enjoy your videos. I've been working on this song. I have used 4,3,2,4,[1,2],4 for it which is the same pattern I use for the Dance. Sounds good but it's nice to mix it up. I'll try your other pick patterns.

Quick question Matt! My uncle used to play this old gospel song and I think it was called, "To save an old sinner like me". However I googled it and the songs that come up aren't the same song and I don't have any ol gospel hymn books hanging around. Was hoping maybe you could help a brother out! Thanks in advance! Matt I think the only song I can play by heart memory is that summer but Garth. I play the same songs sometimes over and over and I can’t seem to memorize the chords. I still have to put the paper in front of me to follow. Why? How do you know so many songs by heart
Matt how long does or did it take you to learn fingerpicking at an efficient level? Did you have an instructor or just figured it out on your own? I’m struggling with it.

Ole friend, before he went crazy, did that. Me the drummer and even , the lead guitarist would try to drop his ego😂 listen to our bassist play his country tunes. After a show. I scratched my head! Wondering why we can’t put this great stuff in our SHOW!? He was amazing! Was as good as any elite musician any chart. But, he somehow, went crazy, stating he was was going to kill me and my daughter. I had to be done with him after a confrontation. And since, say, 2019, we haven’t communicated 🥲 he could play and very nice guy with talent, until that day came he could pick that guitar, I loved him. Take a few steps back when your people’s get crazy. But, always enjoy, thrive and have passion. For your art👍🏻
