Annoys me when the mechanic does that to my mini. You only need to let it drop with these cars.
As a JCW owner I would rather have more bhp rather than the different trim, 231 bhp isn't considered enough these days compared to what other manufacturers are claiming from their hot hatches.

@@SWR112 Last summer I bought a ten month old white/silver with red roof JCW, 3k miles with all the toys retailing at over £38k for £27k, that's the way to do it.
This is a great presentation. Please, will you clarify that the MINI you are showing are actually Model Year 2022? The Model Year 2021 MINI production is complete; these MINI are either in inventory or en route ... The Model Year 2022 production has begun and will begin to arrive in the US market next month. So exciting!

Third gen on the third gen 😁We have had seven MINI’s and just picked up our seventh a few weeks back a new Clubman with all the toys. The interior is beautiful in it compared to my F56 hatch. Shame that works trim still has chrome it just kills it for me as I absolutely hate chrome. Glad the MINI ELECTRIC also got the treatment although we are going full EV next car it’s over to MINI to up their games as non of our MINI’s are second cars they get used for road tips and holidays and if the new EV second gen doesn’t do range then it’s Tesla, VW, Honda for us and that would be a shame as we have enjoyed our MINI’s.
Just to add my F56 was one of the first on the U.K. roads back in 2014 and it was shocking build quality wise parts were not screwed together or cables done right, it was in 18 times for faults, parts and electrical failure. I didn’t have the car for a month while parts were replaced or waited on. But I still have this Car but still it has its design flaws like the paint being scratched off by the door trim rubber, paint fade on the plastic bumper at the number plate that I’ve noticed on over thirty other MINI Cars , windows frameless scratching when dirt gets in the runners. Let’s hope they have learned to build this new version. As a good friend said to me never buy a new gen MINI and I mean proper next gen not a face lift till they bring out the Works version a few years later as they have learned to build them and fixed so many early issues and that’s now my only rule after my past experience. I wouldn’t touch the next gen in 2024/25 till a few years in and that means I probably will be shifting brands as my low mileage f56 will be ten years old.

Seriously we have this in our new Clubman and can’t find it and the phone charger in the centre armrest doesn’t charge but the blue light comes on 🤷🏼♂️

I really like the new design I own minis and my family have owned minis but there is a big fault on the car. That mini it’s as expensive as a bmw 440i convertible I literally could get 6 cylinder or even better I could get a m2 for the price of that mini. ¡New! I’m saying this not to shade the company I’m saying it because I love the minis and love the community and would love that the car would be worth that money but I’m gonna pass for this one and go for the bimmer rout this time.
M2 and 440i cost a lot more when they are brand new tho
@@turbos7780 In summer of 2020 I went to a dealer searching for a bmw and they offered me a 440 convertible and they priced me the car in 70 spec out
I ordered my hardtop about a week ago, can't wait to get it. But will it also have this facelift? Or is this only for the convertible? Also, the configurator didn't show the facelift at the time.
You will have the facelift! My parents and I orderd a jcw hardtop in the beginning of January and it was not possible anymore to buy one without the facelift.
The store were we bought our hardtop JCW gave us the chance to already see the facelift in the beginning of January because we didn't want to buy one with the facelift without seeing one. It was after closed doors and ofcourse we were not allowed to take pictures. (Belgium)

The screen it's unreadable with the sun I try the SE that cost like a Tesla and have only 150miles of autonomy less than a fiat 500 at half price! And unbelievable there is no android auto and mirror link in 2021 this is crazy man. No active AdaS, so lot of light but it's an old product not new !
fiats are crap, they are no premium. Minis are on a higher level. Comparing a Fiat to a Mini is insulting.
@@PaulTC777 I said that the multimedia system it's an ancient piece of technology. the screen it's cheap and unreadable and the range of the electric 500 it's 300miles double of the mini 500 have active AdAs. This is a fact not insulting. I like the car but the 500 it's more modern than the mini.
I have this car and the screen is perfectly fine in the sun.
Just think of repair bill on this thing XD

more than half of the front grill on the jcw is now fake.
Massive disappoint. JCW looks very unsporty. Wheels look lost and the wheel arch gap is too large. Sills look a bit bland.
Mini styling is going backwards.

The facelift isn’t beautiful. The bumpers are uuuuuugly. The interior doesn’t look better either. And no manual in the JCW?!
There is no manual in 3rd generation JCWs.
There is a manual version ...
@@Xotiw I’ve seen multiple sources state that the John Cooper Works trim will not offer a manual transmission. I’d love to see otherwise but MINI already axed the manual + All4 combinations so it wouldn’t surprise me. 🤞🏻
@@Jaykay321 I mean i just went on the Mini website to make a JCW spec and they offered me the manual transmission ... And this was the relift version of course
@@Xotiw Which country’s store are you in? The U.S. website doesn’t have the new model available for the “build your own” configurator.
BMW needs to stop F*****g up the design if the Mini, perhaps they need to employ somebody English to do it, that new front end is garbage and totally stuffs up the styling of the Mini.
