Hi guys, theres an error on the rx 6700 footage seen at 18:14. it was also the same footage seen in 7:52. it was the 1080p clip hence the rx 6700 had higher fps compared to the 3070 and 6700xt during the 1440p test. this was an error on during editing forgot to replace the footage with the 1440p version of the test. upon checking my graphs the rx 6700 had 61 fps average on 1440p of the rdr2 test. sorry for the mistake, will do better next time.
All three cards are three fan models. I noticed the RX 6700 10GB was cooler and the fan speed was lower than the other two. Yes, I realize it uses less energy. Was the RX 6700 10GB noticeably quieter? Could you tell much of a difference? Which card was the loudest? . . . The reason I ask is, where I live it is absolutely quiet. Even completely silent at times. Therefore, fan noise has become an issue for me.

If you can find it the 6700xt or 6750xt are the better picks for the right price. Thee rx6700 10gb is not bad. But the 6700xt/50 with the 12gb vram is the better pick. Though if you can find a rx6800 or rx6800xt at a good price go with one of those instead.
The 3070 only really has the edge in mostly 1080p and a few games at 1440p which use low VRAM. SO glad I went with 6700XT over the 3070 because it will certainly age better than the 3070 with the additional VRAM and optimisation from AMD.
yeah bro i used 3060 and now im using 6700xt nvidia dlss and rtx is overrated rtx eats fps and dlss is works good only in few games actually fsr mostly works better than dlss

Driver overhead. Hardware unboxed has a video about how CPU limited games tend to have better performance on AMD GPUs. I'll look for it and try to post it in another comment

@@commandantee The Actual FSR 2.2.1 Is like 90-95% Of dlss, Using RT needs a lot of VRAM, in games like Resident evil or far cry or howarts legacy, when you enable RT the 3070 get an horrible 1 and 0.1% lows and unstable frametime.
i would go for the 3070, because it's faster has ray tracing and dlls.. will be much more futere proof! Sadly almost nobody sees it.. because amd is a little cheaper, but slower

Hi, MAN! I have an RX 6800 ASUS TUF GAMING graphics card, and for some reason I have the same fps at this location, which you have at 13:15 55 fps on my rx 6800, but you have 60-62 fps. My processor is 7 5700x, 32 GB of RAM, everything is installed on the SSD, everything is correct. And in your video you have an "RX 6800 vs 4070" 60-62 fps at this location. Although the settings are the same on ultra. What is the reason for this? I have sam ON. Help me, brother!
@@Ruxel maybe the GPU is running too hot? so it downclocks itself. Do you have the latest Driver? Did you perform a clean installation of said driver? Also there is some configurations in Adrenaline that can cost you FPS like Anti-Lag, you should disable those. Take in consideration in that video(6800 vs 4070) Jegs has a Gigabyte gaming OC, so probably the core clock and memory clock are different by default in that card. And at last, not every card, no matter if it is the same model made by the same brand, can perform exactly the same, this can happen with every component of the PC. Hope that this can help you!
ultra textures, high settings rest, i had to turn sam off in the last of us, had 41 fps few min after intro, even on lower settings i had same fps, now with sam off,depending on place, outside from 70-80+, inside close to 100, lowest i saw was 62, 16gb of ram, 5600 non x, 6700 xt powercolor fighter, all stock

Vaya engaño lo de la VRAM, tiene la 6700 10 GB, pues en algún juego consume casi la totalidad y la 3070 tiene 8 y solo consume 5, con lo cual no hay color entre tarjetas, la VRAM es un engaño, de que le sirve a AMD tener más VRAM si consumen mucho más VRAM en condiciones iguales que una de Nvidia?
Consume 5, ya que la asignada es mayor, y esta misma no puede tener mas. (Por ende al haber mas VRAM el juego puede asignarse mas y tener un frametime mejor) Por eso en varios titulos la RTX 3070 tiene un frametime super inestable y menos fps.
También, para aportar pruebas de tu ignorancia al hablar, la 3070 es mucho más inestable porque al necesitar más VRAM pasa a usar RAM regular. No se trata de ver fps como idiota, sino de entender
Ive had RTX 3070 Aorus Master and theres not a single game it was able to handle 60+ fps at max settings with ray tracing on. Anything bellow 3080 12gb can not utilize it’s raytracing cores to provide a 60+ fps experience. If you just want to brag about having raytracing go on, spend your money on 3070. 3070 and 6700xt are actually the same price right now on the used market. Some people even sell 3070 for lower than 6700xt for obvious reasons. I couldn’t in the right mind suggest 3070 to anyone. Better get 3060ti and save some money or just go with the 6700xt-6800xt. Stop supporting Nvidia prices and poor decisions towards regular consumer cards.
@@napstericious ehh, it's doable if you just lower one or two settings like shadow quality or something else where you dont see the difference in game but sometimes gain 10 fps or more. every game has a couple of those completely illogical settings that just eat up fps while providing no visual improvement whatsoever
Why? Virtually every benchmark here is bottlenecking at the GPU not the CPU. This is probably a better reflection of what people will actually be using with those cards.

The 6700 xt eagle was more silent compared to the other 2.
Those limited 8 gigs of the 3070 are a deal breaker in 2023.

How did you manage having less temps on rx 6700 xt? I already watched some benchmarks for that card but they reach 80C on every Ultra settings game.
Just have a good trio fan card i got a saphire nitro OC triple fan and cant push it above 70

Why do you get 60 fps in one build on Rx 6700 XT in The Last of Us Part 1 and 70 in the second with the same settings and about the same time?
Cause not every build will yield the same results even if you have the same GPU. CPU, Ram is also a factor on performance

Whats your ram speed? Do you have xmp enabled?

6600 xt is about 10% more efficient than 5700 xt. In my country 5700 xt is 10 euros more expensive rn so id definitely get the 6600 xt.

Have you tried using raytracing and dlss on these cards? Than you will see why the RTX3070 is worth 100 bucks more than the 6700xt
