I am in process of finishing a budget build. Gave my wife the 3060TI build I used since 2021. Decided to stay AM4 and pass the build to my kid in a year, and then buy AM5 for myself next year with a larger budget. At any rate I was going to buy a 7800XT, but after watching this the 6700XT plays dang good at 1440p Warzone/Apex (main games I play). When I pass it down it'll be used on 1080p. Thanks for the post as probably just saved me an additional $200.
Hello imma buy my first pc gamer and i want it to be evolutive, is it really important to get AM5 or i can go with AM4 (i don't even know what it really changes)
@@JURO768KUJO AM5 is the next gen which means more upgradable long term. The lowest end cpu is the 7600 which is as powerful as the highest end AM4 cpu from a gaming standpoint (I believe). The difference is you will spend $200-300 more right now to build AM5 for out the gate better performance with an upgradable path. Or you can save that money and buy something AM4 that will meet majority of needs for next 3-4 years. You could also spend the same money you would spend for entry AM5 to build top of the line AM4 right now for performance now instead of building for a “upgradable future”. If I had the budget I would build AM5 now. But I saw more value in building AM4 for $800-900 now because you can game at 1440p for so cheap right now
Dont buy 6700 XT. I am owner of one. GPU is great but it has one big flaw and if you can get over it then buy it. This gpu often freeze entire pc (you cant task manager or anything) you need to completely button restart your pc. This may happen few times during the day, sometimes few times a week and sometimes everything works for few weeks and then cycle repeats. This is a known problem even for AMD but to this day its still not fixed. The problem arises usually when idling and going hard or when switching tabs, game screen to second screen or vice versa. I found a workaround on AMD forums, undervolting and reducing core speed or something similar and right now freezes happen very rarely but they happen
@@Clint_Beastwood87 I decided just to buy a 7700xt this upcoming Friday. It’s on sale for $420 currently. If not that then it’ll be a 6800 for $410. Anything but Nvidia
i used to have the 5600x with the 6700xt and it was great in 1440p i got at least 60+fps in alot of games i have since upgraded to the 5800x3d the 5600x is a good cpu and it doesnt run that hot the 5700x will run more hot while gaming the 5600x i probably got max 70c so i think the 5600x is a great choice to pair with the 6700xt it worked great as a combo when i had the 5600x
Probably so at 1440p i'm not sure I need to wait for my monitor to come in on Friday, but 1080p yeah it wont even break a sweat. I'll let you know when I test it
@@datboywilin Just got it, Im on a 5600X and 6700XT, i got a good 200-300 fps on 1440p on the lowest settings, im not sure about anything higher than that but itll vary between what areas you are in, but every system is different

650w Should do the Job..
Hi, I wanted to know, do you have CSM active? because if I deactivate it, it gives me a black screen. Thanks.
Hi CSM is disabled...
What benchmark program do you use
If you are talking about the OSD, its MSI Afterburner...
I can guarantee you don't get 60 fps in TCM with the ultra preset @1440p
Bro need ryzen 5 5600x rx 5700xt with 100 games ❤
Would this exact build get stable 240 fps in fortnite?
