    Ever since my local guy sold all of his stuff and stopped making holsters I've started using these. I've bought about 5 or 6 of them over the years and they've worked just fine.

      Yeah, we have a girl here who was making some awesome holsters but now we can't get hold of her.

    I bought two rounded gear IWB holsters and they are hands down the best holster I own. I own a crap ton of different brands of holsters and for $41 you can’t beat these holsters. I can’t recommend them enough.

      Have they fixed the design on the corners?

      I haven’t seen any holster with those sharp edges as of yet but then again I only own 4 holster from rounded and they are all for glocks. The two that I had mentioned in my original comment was for the gen 5 Glock 19 and a Glock 43x.

    Great video. I'll probably have to do some sanding myself on mine. Just a slight correction, these holsters are not real carbon fiber. They're standard kydex with a carbon design on it.

      Thank you for the clarification. It is a good holster.

    I've shaved off extra plastic on dozens of holsters over the years. A great tip is to use a sheetrock sanding block to finish the edges. The foam forms over whatever shape your sanding and you can get it in 180 to 220+ grit for a clean and smooth finish.

      That is an awesome tip. Thank you for sharing. I have not picked up any new versions of these holsters.

    I just ordered a holster to fit a Ruger Security 9. I didn’t notice the corners in the website pictures; glad to see your review. But now I’m jealous to have a small workshop 😞 to do mods when needed.

      @SecurityAllStar  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We keep adding to the workshop and it is helpful. Now adding a laser engraver, second sander and press. Yes, it helps.

    I know this is a older video but one of the best things one can do with these type of holsters with the fomi clip is to take that off throw it in the trash where it belongs and get either belt loops, or DCC clips.

    • @SecurityAllStar
      @SecurityAllStar  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's a great comment. The holster I wear has the belt loop run through it. One failure at the wrong time could prove to be fatal.

    I got one of their holsters a few weeks ago and did the exact same thing 😂 those damn corners

      Are they still on there? I can't believe that have not "rounded" the corners. Ha!

    Pretty sure this is actually kydex that is finished in a black carbon fiber look. Probably good because grinding or cutting carbon fiber must be done with a mask.

    • @SecurityAllStar
      @SecurityAllStar  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think you may be right about that. It smoothed out pretty quickly.

  • @whatsup24_7
    @whatsup24_7 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Its not carbon fiber, thats just the pattern. It's made out of kydex

    • @SecurityAllStar
      @SecurityAllStar  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are correctr - It is a carbon fiber print and some type of polymer.

    • @whatsup24_7

      @@SecurityAllStar I just wanted to state that because there's always gonna be some crybabies that buy it and then when they find out it's kydex they're gonna drop tears and whine in your comments blaming you.

    Dont buy a holster for p365, piece of junk, if you want comfort go with vedder

    • @SecurityAllStar
      @SecurityAllStar  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey, post a link to Vedder. I've never tried them.

      I just bought a Vedder for my cz p10s and i don't like it. It rides too high for me and isn't as comfortable as my old holster i carry my shield in. It is a quality well made holster though.
