I live on a busy street. Every morning and afternoon all you hear are bus horns due to people do not stop. This is Westland mi. I hope more cities put our children safety first.

Here's the problem with that. The bus camera's won't show the driver of the vehicle who didn't obey the sign/light. If someone used my vehicle and pulled that crap and I got the ticket for it, I not only wouldn't pay the ticket but also go to court and fight it and sue for getting a ticket to something I didn't do it that they had zero proof on me doing. If they are going to be doing this then they need a few cameras especially one in the back where it can see any vehicle and it's driver. There also needs to be on directly on the driver side facing twords on coming traffic. If the camera doesn't really show a person/leaves only speculation then there isn't any proof the person receiving the ticket is the person who committed the crime.

About time lawmakers wake up $1000 fines points on license and insurance rate hike.

The state always wants to take our money. Those bus tickets are expensive
