No one is talking about the no.1 FIBA ranked team & defending champion "Spain". I don't see this inexperienced USA & Canadian team doing well. It's more of team work than individual big names.
Spain won the European Championship last year with a C team vs the France team that will go to this WC so you never know, Spain plays the best fiba basketball of them all so we'll see...
you`re right, Spain is scary good says this canadian. Only thing i`ll say about Canada is , carrying chip on their shoulders and have some chemistry building. Plus we have spanish coach which I`m happy about and he can hardly contain himself with how good he thinks Canada can be especially on defence. Heads up too, everyone knows about Murray and SGA but Kelly Olynyk is star when he plays for Canada. World has never seen him in Olympics and last appeared in world cup when he was about 20. Last year was great against Argentina and Dominican Republic and many other great games through the years.
USA is well rounded with massive talent. Coaching and chemistry will be the deciding factors on their success..but I gotta say, Canada has no defense. Like, their best rim defender is Olynyk? Or am I high? *edit* I was high. It's Zach Edey.
believe it or not, can tell you former NBAer Kyle Alexander will make team. Most online posts are showing 11 players, he will be the 12th likely player picked for his size. He has looked rock solid for Canada last year or so, good rim protector. Olynyk is star by the way for Canada, puts up Houston Rocket kelly numbers when he plays for Canada. And Canada coach Jordi Fernandez, just yesterday said he believes Canada will have best defence in world cup.
Canada having no rim protection will be the death of them.. They'd been better off putting Leonard Miller as a rookie in with his 6'10 245 and long wingspan to try and guard JJJ. While protecting the rim. He's not a shooter, but he can run like a dear, get steals and throw down some monster dunks and blocks. Nevermind, I forgot they have Zach Edey.. lol still he could have been useful guarding some other guy's. Edey can't do it all the time either.
I agree, top 5 for me along with USA,Canada,Spain and France. The Boomers always have the best commitment and chemistry, just not the sexy names the USA and Canada has, although Giddey will be there in next year or so and maybe Daniels or even Green soon.

As a warriors fan, Austin Reaves feels like he’s going to emerge as the biggest influence on this team! He’s a natural born hooper and imo, a star who could become a superstar! ⭐️ ❤
That boys IQ is there, nice narrative
And Steve Kerr has been harping on what he loves about Reaves so I won’t be surprised if he’s getting a solid amount of minutes off the bench
Who 😂😂
@@TwoAm52 Ok so what , so is everything one else 😂 dude is a role player and was a 4th option on the Lakers. Everyone else been #1 or #2 on there team.
You need to relax , Austin is like the oldest dude on the team 😂 and is mid. Don't hype up mid it's not good for the sport.
All of those players will be way better this year
THE FACES OF ESPN NBA JUST DISAPPOINT ME I DONT WANNA HEAR FROM NONE OF THESE PPL😂
Brunson single handedly cooked Maimi , Brunson is HIM
stop it Miami cooked HIM himmy butler made those clowns his children
This USA team looks like a solid bronze medal candidate
I can't wait for the 2024 Olympics Redeem team bro, they really think this team can win gold.
Team Canada gone be tough
AnT, Jalen Brunson and Jarrett Jackson Jr would be a great trio
So we gonn act like Brandon Ingram not the best player on the team
I don’t think there is a clear best player right now. We’ll see when the games start
Anthony edwards is my dark horse for MVP this year, expect big things from him
Haliburton better be the starting PG.
Imo Brunson is better than Haliburton, more poised, more mature, a dawg. Tyrese is nice but he is a lil overrated imo
Brunson is better
Absolutely not lmao. Brunson is a true leader and he has far more experience in much tougher environments than Haliburton
Well he’s not and he shouldn’t be
I love that no one is paying attention to Australia.
They have the most continuity of any team there.
True but a lot of their players are past their prime.
Agreed the Aussies and Baltic states and the Greeks, as well as the Turks !! Hasten ti add the European fans who travel also ! The loudest nba crowd is nowhere near the hostile or loud atmosphere of European teams
Dude look how stacked their team is
No one is talking about spain as always, current world champions
@@palossmosti6122 no expectations Im not surprised at all they have been winning sir
WE GOT THIS 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 LETS GOOO
You know when the game starts??
Umm idk. Gotta produce before I jump. Some really experienced international players. Remember 2003
Yeah… Spain is like the heat or spurs here
spain too old
you`re right, Spain is scary good says this canadian.
Spain is definitely good but we just beat them.
Brunson will be an awesome floor General !
Any-man would be the perfect run mate with brunson
Tim Bontemps just said SGA is as good or better than LUKA ?!
The Canadian team has nba players too ...😂
USA is well rounded with massive talent.
And Canada coach Jordi Fernandez, just yesterday said he believes Canada will have best defence in world cup.
don't forget lu dort and dillon brooks .. both top defenders. funny enough the head coach feels they will have best defense..we will see
Canada has the two best defenders probably in the tournament on their team 😂😂
Future of the league is in good hands 🙌
This is going to be a great FIBA year
Canada having no rim protection will be the death of them..
Yall underate Australia so hard
I agree, top 5 for me along with USA,Canada,Spain and France. The Boomers always have the best commitment and chemistry, just not the sexy names the USA and Canada has, although Giddey will be there in next year or so and maybe Daniels or even Green soon.
They better make a Redeem Team 2 cuz Canada goin beat these boyz. Canada is stacked!!!
Did Ja'a off court mean he's out? Holy moly. They will definitely get Ja in down the line his athleticism is literally unmatched on this globe.
Ja could play in the Olympics, nobody cares about the world cup
World Cup sucks Ja booker Tatum Zion trae Ant all next year Olympics
If that's really a good point the fact that he's not there is a big deal... Because I think he would have played if he didn't get in trouble
if only wiggns and sharpe joined that canada team....👀
Team USA about to get smashed
PG Jalen Brunson
SG Edwards
SF Bridges
PF JJJ
C Kessler
Just my starting 5😅
we bout to get our head beat in]
"No International experience" but yet "Jalen Brunson was MVP of the 19U team in FIBA play" 😂😂😂😂😂😂 LSPN L for Lazy. Of course I still like the squad though!
Youth tournaments is way different than seniors level
@@robertotampioc7318 Is it not international rules???
@@iShiftIn2Turbo … they tell only in seniors level… that is different… a lot of good youth players in the past didn’t make a name in the nba… one of those is kenny lofton jr… he had a good youth experience but still below what was expected for him
Uhhhh, ESPN did mention that. You need to pay more attention.
@@jamesdavis8731 That's why I put both statements in quotations. I also mentioned I support the squad especially because there is mostly younger stars this time around should be a very fun team. Doesn't excuse their lazy and contradictory reporting international rules experience regardless of age is experience. A lot of the best players to play over seas at a young age were or are in the NBA such as Porzingis and Luka. So the age doesn't matter experience is experience especially when all the "best" players go to the NBA anyways.
Ingram will also big huge, maybe more than the other's at times. I'm watchin for JJJ and Ingram. Then Ant obviously for his physicality.
Still remains the same. Gold standard for team USA
Lets Go ! Team Canada
