Thank you for the tutorial. You did not show how you connected your Mini to the board in that sensor. Do you have a schematic somewhere?

Greetings Eric. Thanks for the feedback, apology I didn't include the wiring. See the links below to photos I have taken, I hope they help.

The red wire is vcc and the black is gnd, with white being data.

Hey, I'm very new to this scene but do you think it may be easy to use the unit as a light indicator rather than an air quality sensor and get Home Assistant to change the colour when required?

It is possible yes, but it would be better to replace the stock led with ws2812b

But if you only want to use the unit as light indicator without air quality measurement then there are far better options then that.

I can help you to build something. Its really easy. The speaker light Shows up in home assistant as light bulb and you can control it like rgb light bulbs and make automations. You can use this unit for air and add led yourself and I can provide you the Code. Actually I am thinking about doing that since I have led here. Then you have air measurement and light as light bulb in home assistant.

But the led on the Board unit itself are no rgb. They are 6 Single led 2 Red 2 Orange 2 green.

The video was just what I was looking for. Just wondering if you have tried to add the bluetooth_proxy: to the YAML file?

Hi There... I did add the code as explained here www.home-assistant.io/integrations/bluetooth_le_tracker/ but it appears implementing BLE presence tracking is not as straight forward as I first thought. I am continuing the journey when time permits, and have purchased a few iBeacons, but nothing concrete to report. I may end up doing a video to explain my journey as it might help other folks.
